The sad reality of having a condition that is so lacking in medical practices is that you have a community that relies on each other for support, tips and tricks, sounding board advice, frustration outlets.

But sometimes, that same community can pull you down because you either don’t match what their visual representation of the condition is, they don’t have the same type/stage as you, they aren’t at the same management level as you.

It’s important to remember to build your support system with practitioners, friends, community members that value you to help drown out the negative noise!

Lipoedema management isn’t linear, it’s different for everyone and everyone responds to different strategies.
