Homeopathy is based on Nature’s Law of Similars ~ Similia similibus curentur ~ Like cures like ~ a concept identified by hypocrites (early 400BC) and explored deeply by Dr Samuel Hahnemann in the late 1700s.

It explains how a substance causing specific symptoms in a healthy person can treat similar symptoms in a sick person, and when given in a homeopathic preparation will cause no harm.

So, as a bee sting may cause redness, pain and spelling, such similar symptoms seen in an otherwise healthy person may be helped by Apis ~ the remedy made from bee venom.

I’ve personally found Apis helpful in hayfever, allergic reactions, insect stings and even facial shingles!
