🍂

This autumn, the Mountain Studio is home to a beautiful circle of practitioners offering healing, body-based, earth-connected and therapeutic work.

The Zoe Dojo studio residency exists to support emerging and established healers, therapists and facilitators to grow their practice in a grounded, affordable and nature-connected space — while offering the wider community more pathways into care, connection and renewal.

If you haven't met yet we’re delighted to introduce Moran Wiesel .enspiralled offering sessions on Saturdays from the Mountain Studio.

Moran’s work weaves eco-somatic counselling, ritual, compassion, ancestral connection and earth-based practice. Their sessions offer sacred, supportive spaces to release emotional heaviness, be with grief or pain, deepen intuitive listening, and reconnect with earth-spirit kin.

Moran’s Autumn offerings include:

Ho’oponopono
A powerful Hawaiian-informed practice of radical forgiveness and unconditional love, supporting the release of heaviness such as anger, shame, guilt or fear.

Eco-Somatic Counselling
A compassionate space to be with what is present — through conversation, walking in the bush, movement, sound, tears, ritual or ceremony.

Sensing Kin
Sessions for deepening intuition, energetic sensing, and relationship with earth-spirit kin, ancestors and the more-than-human world.

Available Saturdays
Mountain Studio, Zoe Dojo, Fern Tree

Moran is also facilitating the Petrichor, A gathering of healers to share, connect, and cross-pollinate business skills. Meeting Tuesdays evenings once a month in the studio.

Coming up in the Mountain Studio 🍂

We’re delighted to welcome Bradfield Dumpleton to the Mountain Studio for Maps of Self — a 6-week meditative drawing journey exploring personal symbols, self-perception and intuitive reflection.

Maps of Self invites participants to use symbols and drawing as gentle doorways into curiosity, insight, play, meaning-making and the mystery of the self.

This is not an art class, and not art therapy — but you may naturally develop creative confidence and experience therapeutic benefits along the way. The invitation is to begin from a place of nothing to fix, and explore what can be cultivated through drawing: calm, attention, inspiration, sacredness, self-awareness and play.

Maps of Self
Exploring perceptions of self through the art of personal symbols

Dates: May 17 – June 21
When: Sundays, 2–4pm
Where: Mountain Studio, Fern Tree
Cost: $450 for 6 weeks, or 2 payments of $225
Group size: Limited to 6 participants
Bookings: [email protected]

More info:

Come as you are — with an open heart, a curious mind, and a sketchbook for the journey.

🍂

This autumn marks a beautiful milestone for Zoe Dojo — the completion of a full year cycle of the Mountain Studio Practitioner Residency.

The residency was launched in winter 2025 as a way to support practitioners, offer more pathways of care for the community, and help sustain the ongoing care of this old and well-loved building.

Since then, we’ve hosted and supported over 20 incredible practitioners across a diverse range of healing, therapeutic, creative and body-based modalities.

This autumn collective brings together a beautiful circle of women offering:

Holistic Psychotherapy
Craniosacral therapy
Eco-somatics .enspiralled
Astral medicine .laura
Zenthai Shiatsu
Ritual, bodywork, deep listening and earth-connected healing

Each practitioner brings their own unique medicine, training and way of holding space — from nervous system support and embodied presence, to intuitive guidance, ritual practice, energetic care and therapeutic touch.

Bookings are made directly through each practitioner’s private booking profile, with sessions available until the end of June.

More details about each practitioner and their offerings can be found on the Zoe Dojo website.

Mondays with Lizzie 🍂

As part of our Mountain Studio Autumn Practitioner Residency, we’re delighted to welcome Lizzie of Movements of Being, offering holistic psychotherapy.

Often we feel inner shifts before we know how to make sense of them — through grief, loss, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity shifts, or the quiet sense that who we’ve been no longer feels true.

Lizzie offers therapy as a space to meet these moments with depth, curiosity and care. Her work draws on relational, somatic and process-oriented approaches, supporting deeper self-understanding, self-trust, integration and sustainable change.

Rather than seeing difficult experiences as something to “fix”, Lizzie invites a gentle listening for what is asking to be known, felt and honoured.

Held in the warm, intimate Mountain Studio beside the fire, with views of kunanyi, these sessions offer a supportive environment to slow down, reflect and reconnect.

Sessions

🍂 Tuesdays in the Mountain Studio
Tea Ceremony + Craniosacral Therapy

We’re so grateful to have Helena continuing as part of the Autumn Mountain Studio Practitioner Residency.

Helena has been with us since spring, she is a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, yoga instructor, tea ceremonialist and wilderness guide practicing in nipaluna / Hobart. Her work is grounded in deep relationship with the body, subtle energy, the mystery of life, and the greater forces of nature.

The Breath of Life is a 3-month Craniosacral Therapy program created especially for Zoe Dojo — designed to support a deepening relationship with your body and your life.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on somatic therapy that supports the body’s natural capacity to heal and self-regulate. Working with the subtle rhythms of the nervous system, fascia and fluids, sessions can support deep rest, nervous system regulation, release of tension, and a return to the intelligence of the body.

Helena also holds community Tea Ceremony every Tuesday morning at 7.30am in the Mountain Studio, with Thursday mornings silent tea ceremony coming soon.

Tea Ceremony is the quiet, meditative practice of sharing tea in a bowl — a simple, graceful ritual steeped in silence, reverence and gratitude. A space to sit together, contemplate, and open to beauty in the mundane.

⚡️ Internal Martial Arts Foundations at Zoe Dojo

We’re very excited to welcome Jane to Zoe Dojo for a 6-week Internal Martial Arts Foundations course, beginning Tuesday 2nd June.

This course is open to all ages and offers two weekly classes: one focused on Kick-boxing / Kung-Fu foundations, and one on Qi Gong.

The first class will explore warm-ups, fitness drills, strength, agility, coordination, stance and footwork, basic defence and offence, partner work, pad work, strikes, kicks, destabilisation skills and stretching.

The second class will focus on Qi Gong — breathing practices for internal health cultivation, movement meditation, developing internal awareness and feeling “Qi”, with benefits for circulation, nervous system support and mental health.

Jane has been studying Chinese martial arts intensely in Victoria and beyond since 2012, in the styles of Ziranmen, LiuHe and Sanda, Baguazhang, Xing Yi, Tai Ji and Qi Gong.

She holds Qi Gong teacher certification from Master Liu Deming and Level 4 Ziranmen grading from the 5 Elements Martial Arts Academy, where she was also an assistant teacher.

For Jane, martial arts training offers a generative, restorative and rehabilitative daily practice — not only for the body, but also the mind and spirit.
