A night for Inclusion!!!

And what a night it was, last night at the Hawthorn FC’s Annual Inclusion Awards!!

I was honoured to be able to speak to the role of our Occupational Therapists working within The Inclusion Project along with Adam Moedt and Mel from Variety - the Children's Charity of Victoria Variety - the Children’s Charity Victoria as we shared the impact this program has made in supporting people and their families with differing abilities in the community.

A special mention to the Inclusion Project Officers, you’re amazing and we are so proud to work alongside you all. Your kindness and generosity makes our days brighter when working a shift with you. Oscar Anderson, Andre Leslie The Inclusion Project and carliesaunders you’re a powerhouse team that gets things done!! We love your energy and dedication to working towards something bigger and greater in this world.

We are extremely proud of our partnership with The Inclusion Project and will continue to dedicate our time in support of social connectedness and inclusion for all.

The Wind-Down Flow

Screen off: Put the phone away 45 minutes before bed.

🕯️ Dim lights: Lower the house lights to trigger melatonin.

🫖 Sip slow: Enjoy a warm, caffeine-free tea or magnesium drink.

📖 Brain dump: Write down tomorrow’s to-dos to clear your head.

Tend to your environment. Whether it be work, home, in your car or backyard.

Small adjustments can have a BIG impact to your overall wellbeing.

- clear the bench space
- Remove rubbish from your car
-Tidy the shelves or desk and reduce visual stimulus
- place a potted plant in eyes view🪴

All the things impact how we feel and behave each day. 🙂Give it a go!
