Supporting educational sensory spaces through the Walk a Mile in My Shoes Charity Project 👟

Our OT Marquee Evangelista helped present a cheque for $2500 to Williamstown PS from the Walk a Mile in my Shoes ( ) funds raised at the WAMIMS Emerald Gala.

Their 3 wellbeing rooms are phenomenal! Our $2500 will add to enhancing their Lego program, that we are very proud to support!🌼

Welcome to the team, Wallis! 🌼

Wallis is a Senior Occupational Therapist with over 16 years experience working across ages as an occupational therapist within a mental health setting in Hong Kong, of which 12 years were spent specialising in children and adolescents psychiatry.

Wallis shows a strong commitment in empowering parents and caregivers by equipping them with practical tools and strategies to support their family’s and loved ones embracing a “Person-Family Centred” approach that is holistic.

Wallis has immediate availability, and is able to provide sessions in english, mandarin, and cantonese.

Living Without Boundaries prides itself on giving back to the community through provision of free education sessions to schools and families surrounding handwriting development in children and the importance of building and integrating fine motor skills into their education and learning.

This week Pranita Dass, our Senior Occupational Therapist came together with teachers and families at Seaholme Primary School to deliver an interactive presentation on the importance and development of handwriting skills in support of building children's confidence during learning.

We wish to thank Seaholme Primary School for their warm welcome, leading the way in supporting children to have success in learning to write.
