🧠💜 This weekend I submitted what is HOPEFULLY my last case report to AHPRA before I can apply for my full registration. I’m busy finalising the templates for my reports and service agreements for UniqAbility, and I am very much excited to be going to the ZOO tomorrow! So important to keep up with self-care throughout every journey 🫶

🧠 ADHD is a Neurodevelopmental condition meaning if affects the nervous system and the brain during childhood into adulthood development.

🧠ADHD typically refers to a neurodivergence which affects attention and concentration, although some people do not experience hyperactivity/impulsivity. Some may experience challenges including distractedness, time management, articulation and focus on some tasks.

🧠 There are three predominant types of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity:

🌈 Combined presentation
🌈 Predominantly inattentive presentation
🌈 Predominantly hyperactive-impulsive presentation

💪 Some of the strengths (or superpowers) of those with ADHD can include the ability to hyperfocus, creativity, innovation and enthusiasm.

🧠 Up to 90% of disabilities in Australia cannot be seen.

🧠 There are many disabilities and conditions that are counted as ‘invisible’, including arthritis, brain injuries, mental illnesses, diabetes, epilepsy, cognitive and learning disabilities, chronic pain and fatigue.
