If you are new here, hi! I am Cherie Ashleigh, the maker behind Nectar by Nature. Small batch botanical products, handcrafted in South Australia with organic ingredients and a whole lot of love.

One of my absolute favourite things is getting to meet you in person at markets. There is nothing quite like watching someone pick up a bottle, have a smell, and just light up.

Spring is coming and I will be set up at some beautiful spots over the next couple of months.

Buying gifts is easy when someone tells you exactly what they want.
It's the "I don't need anything" people who are the freaking problem 😂
So instead of another candle they'll forget about or something destined for the back of a cupboard, get them something made to actually be used, loved and appreciated.
And while you're there, you'll probably find something for yourself. That's between you and your bank account.

I do not talk about this at every market. But it is always there.

Frankincense has been used in ceremony, meditation, and ritual for thousands of years — across cultures, traditions, and continents. Not because people were superstitious. Because they noticed something.

When the body is overwhelmed, scattered, or running on empty — frankincense brings it back. Not by forcing calm. By creating the conditions for it.

In my blends, it is the ingredient that grounds everything else. The one that says: you are safe. You can slow down. You can land here.

A cold winter morning. Hands that haven't quite woken up. That slow stiffness settling into the fingers, wrists, and forearms after sleeping in the chill.

Before anything else. Flow Serum.

Sometimes you need a remedy on a random Wednesday, not three weeks from now when I happen to be at a market 😂

That's exactly why I love having NBN stocked at A Little Retail Therapy.

It gives you somewhere you can actually wander in, have a look in person and pick up what you need while supporting a shop absolutely packed with South Australian small businesses.

Something I think about a lot — what it means to make your own medicine.

Every product in my range has passed through my hands hundreds of times before it reaches yours. I test them on myself, in real moments. When I'm sick, when my body aches, when my skin is protesting, when I just need to be held by something gentle.

The Whisper Serum started quietly. Just me, sitting with some of the most sacred oils I'd ever worked with. Frankincense, Myrrh, Blue Tansy, Copaiba. Slow-absorbing, deeply restorative, resinous and earthy and soft. I didn't set out to make something premium.
