More Than Words® is designed for children in their childcare to early primary school years who are showing signs of social communication challenges. The program might benefit your child if they:

• Have few or no words
• Find back-and-forth interaction difficult
• Have difficulty using gestures like pointing or showing
• Find it hard to share attention or interests
• Prefer to play alone most of the time
• Use language in repetitive or scripted ways
• Have difficulty consistently responding to others
• Talk, but find social interaction tricky

More Than Words® is a Hanen parent coaching program designed for families of young children, with or without an autism diagnosis, who find it challenging to connect and communicate.

The program teaches you practical, everyday strategies to support your child’s communication during real-life moments – like playtime, mealtime, bath time or getting dressed.

Delivered by our Hanen Certified Speech Pathologist, Tasman Day, the program helps you build communication in ways that feel low-pressure, meaningful and enjoyable for everyone.

If you’ve noticed your child finding communication tricky, that’s enough to start.

⏰ Program registrations close Friday the 12th of June, or sooner if all spots are filled.

Supporting your child’s communication takes a team, and we’re here to help.

Speech and language assessments and therapy are available in our Geelong clinic and within local school settings, to help children build skills as they grow.

Our Speech Pathologists are all members of Speech Pathology Australia and work with families across the region, including NDIS participants. Choosing a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist means your child is supported by someone who meets national standards for quality and care.
