Hello wonderful Mamas 🌻

I was wondering if anyone was up for answering some questions I have? I have an older daughter who gave me the gift of amazing grandchildren! My grandchildren live with autism, ODD and ADHD. I help her as much as I can but I see her and see that she misses out on so many things in life because of fear of going out in public. Whether it comes from the stress of meltdowns, overstimulation or something else….then there occasionally comes the looks of judgement or annoyance of others. If you have time to answer these questions for research purposes with absolutely no judgement I would greatly appreciate it. 🥰

Hi, I’m Kylie, the founder of Life Max Support Services.

I’m a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of experience caring for people across emergency, medical, surgical, mental health, neurology, community nursing and Parkinson’s disease care.

After years of working within the health system, I created Life Max Support Services because I wanted to provide something that can sometimes be difficult to find…unhurried, personalised, compassionate nursing care that truly puts people first.

I believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected and supported, whether they’re living with a disability, managing a chronic illness, recovering from hospital, or simply needing a little extra help to remain independent at home.

As a nurse-led service with over 20 years of clinical experience, my goal is to provide compassionate, professional, person-centred care that helps people remain safe, independent and supported in their own homes.

Whether you need ongoing nursing support, assistance after leaving hospital, chronic disease management, Parkinson’s disease support, wound care, medication management, or comprehensive nursing assessments, I’m here to help.

✨ Now accepting referrals for:
• NDIS participants
• Private clients (self-funded)
• Community nursing referrals from GPs, hospitals and allied health professionals

Important conclusions from The Disability Royal Commission; although being difficult reading, it illuminates the unvarnished realities of Australian women and men with disabilities and exposes the institutionalised cruelty and neglect that these individuals have far too long undergone. The important work of the Disability Royal Commission, which was founded more than four years ago to address these injustices, is highlighted.
This story highlights the injustices that have long been disregarded while also revealing the resiliency and power of our community. Together, let's raise the voices of these people and fight for a day where everyone is respected and included. With each other, we can ignite significant change! Let's continue these important discussions and find a permanent solution to this depressing and systemic problem!

After four years of investigation and harrowing testimony, the Disability Royal Commission has released its recommendations to the federal government to improve the lives of people with disabilities and help them gain autonomy.
