We’re very excited to officially welcome Maria, affectionately known as β€œTia,” into her new role as Team Leader at Bliss Disability Support Services! 🌟

Tia has been a valued member of the Bliss team since September 2023 and brings around three years of experience in the disability sector. She is passionate about person-centred support, helping participants work towards their NDIS goals and empowering people to achieve their highest potential.

Tia also brings valuable hands-on experience, including professional training in operating our wheelchair-accessible Bliss buses and hoists, supporting participants safely and confidently while accessing their community.

Most importantly, Tia is a fantastic team player who is always there to support her colleagues, lend a hand and contribute to a positive and supportive workplace. πŸ’™

Our staff recently came together for our annual training with Team First Aid, refreshing their knowledge, practising essential lifesaving skills and strengthening their confidence to respond appropriately in an emergency.

For us, training isn’t just about ticking a compliance box. It’s about making sure the people we support, their families and our wider community can feel confident knowing our team takes safety, responsibility and professional development seriously.
