Autumn equinox 🍂✨ Balance… perfect poise and grace… unfurling… awakening… ✨

We are poised on the threshold of lengthening winter nights here in the southern hemisphere - moving through autumn, while the northern hemisphere prepares to welcome more sunshine and warmth moving through spring. This time of balance between the two hemispheres - celebrating equal amounts of day and night, light and dark, can be viewed as a turning point in our lives.

Water, the Eternal Whisper

Yoga for menopause: A path to empowered wellbeing

In 2024, I had the honour of completing a Yoga Teacher Training focused on menopause wellbeing with the incredible Margot Porter—an experience that truly changed the way I view this life transition. This year, I was fortunate to assist her in delivering the training, and I continue to feel deep gratitude for the wisdom I’ve gained.

What I was reminded of: knowledge is power.

When we understand what's happening within us—on a physical level (hormonal changes, shifts in our brain, bones, muscles), on an emotional level (the waves of feeling that can take us by surprise), and on a spiritual level (the call to shed, awaken, and rise)—we feel less overwhelmed and more connected to our experience.

Menopause is not a medical problem to fix. It is a powerful initiation, a natural evolution, and if well supported, it can be both challenging and soft, confronting and deeply nourishing. Yoga, mindfulness, and sisterhood offer exactly the kind of support we need.

That’s why we are hosting Wise Woman Rising — a one-day retreat designed to hold you in this sacred space of transition.

✨🌸 Breasties Retreat August 2025 🌸✨

It was such a joy, honour and privilege to be part of this magical day! With the foresight, drive and passion to bring this day together: from Maria and the two compassionate dynamos Nicky and Mel from .courage.foundation, alongside two other beautiful angels Belinda and Tereza
🙏✨
And what a glorious day or was un on Mount Tamborine! The sun shone blessings on our souls after a few days of heavy rain, and the horses in the nearby paddock were frolicking and having a ball 🐎. Kookaburras were reminding us to lighten up and laugh, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Providing space and creating a heart-felt sound bath for 19 courageous and incredibly beautiful young women - who have been faced with the life-altering course of breast cancer - to rest, be nourished and create much-needed connection with others on the same path.
🌸✨
I am so humbled, inspired and in awe of such vulnerability, courage and resilience from these women. To be open to this day, to let go, be held, be nourished, and receive on the deepest levels of their being. And the best part - the thing that gives me the greatest joy 💫 - was to see and feel the radiant smiles from each and every one of them by the end of the day!

To be able to give to these beautiful women from a place of knowing and understanding from my own breast cancer journey is incredibly liberating and humbling.
