This or that: Oil edition
Seed oils have become one of the most debated topics in nutrition lately!
Common seed oils like canola, sunflower, soybean, and vegetable oil are typically more processed and are heavily used in packaged foods, takeaway meals, and fast food cooking. On the other hand, oils like extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil are usually less processed and naturally contain beneficial fats and antioxidants.
Having a small amount of seed oils wonβt harm you, however for everyday cooking, I generally recommend prioritising minimally processed fats where possible and focusing on overall diet quality first.
