“You don’t know, what you don’t know”
When you don’t know what you don’t know, it’s impossible to understand the things that could be harming you or the things that could be helping you.
If you’ve stumbled across our page, welcome. Please hit follow! We are a family that practices a lot of compassion for what we didn't know in the past, but now that we do know better, it has become our absolute mission to educate others. Living on a small farm in NSW, we are out to make big changes to how people view health issues; the kind that have suddenly become "normalised" or brushed off with a casual, "they'll just grow out of it."
Our goal is to help people uncover the root causes of their symptoms. Your body is always trying to tell you something, every individual is unique, and the environments we live in play a massive role in our well-being.
If we had simply taken the initial advice given to us for our son’s eczema, we would still be mindlessly lathering him in steroid creams, wondering why his skin wasn't actually healing. Instead, we went on a quest for answers, choosing to truly understand what his skin was trying to communicate.
Two and a half years later, he is completely eczema-free, and our family has embraced a whole new way of living:
Whole foods: Organic and grass-fed wherever possible.
Pure ingredients: Natural skincare and natural cleaning products (including laundry detergent).
Mindful switch-ups: Fluoride-free toothpaste and horse/boar hair toothbrushes.
The elimination list: Cutting out processed foods, synthetic products, and seed oils wherever possible.
We made these changes gradually, where and when we could. We are entirely realistic about it and refuse to let stress run our lives; we control what we can, make better choices where possible, and live a 90/10 lifestyle. It’s a balance that keeps us thriving, not merely surviving.
Yours in health,
