Rachael joins Ova as a fertility and women’s health practitioner with lived experience of navigating fertility. Rachael’s experience with her fertility acupuncturist led her to studying Chinese medicine, and she takes her role on the other side of the treatment table seriously.

Rach will be your fiercest cheerleader, a safe place to soften, and her dedication to achieving patient outcomes means she will be the practitioner who takes the time to unravel your case and leave no stone unturned.

In addition to fertility, Rach loves to support people through pregnancy and postpartum as well as hormone support through parenting and into perimenopause.

Rach is at our Hendra clinic every Wednesday and at Camp Hill on Thursday from 8am - 1pm both days.

ICYMI our second clinic is now open in Hendra and tomorrow officially marks 3 months since we opened đŸ’«

It’s crazy to believe since opening our doors in November we’ve done over 800 acupuncture appointments in these four walls!

Grateful does not even come close to how we feel for our community - thank you for showing up, for trusting and believing in us and for loving acupuncture as much as we do! Our patients are the reason we get to wake up everyday and do what we love and we are so so so grateful to do “work” that we love.

Ova will turn 2 on July 1 & it is surreal for me to reflect on the last two years & what we have created at Ova. I didn’t create Ova alone, and it wasn’t just my amazing team that created Ova alongside me, but it was our wonderful community that made Ova something even I never imagined it to be - thank you so much to everyone who has been part of our journey so far đŸ€

My vision for Ova was to bring together the very best acupuncturists & herbalists so that together, we could provide high quality, professional, deeply heart-centered and results focused care to our community. I knew I could never do that alone! Building the Ova team has truly been one of the greatest joys of the past 2 years & I am so proud to know that anyone who steps into our clinic is in the very best hands. Each member of our team has so many beautiful & unique strengths & it is a privilege for me to learn from them everyday!

Knowing that my team will be taking the best care of our community, my clinic hours are shifting to Monday & Wednesday only. This shift is to allow me to focus on nurturing our clinic, continuing to mentor my team & to ensure I avoid burnout as I have been working incredibly hard over the last 2 years creating this beautiful space.

This means if you are a current patient of mine, I encourage you to book your maintenance appointments ahead (like, get your 2026 calendars going) because I absolutely don’t want to miss out on seeing my regulars who I love & adore so deeply.

It also means if you are wanting to make an initial appointment with me, I encourage you to plan ahead of time. For the time being I will continue to welcome Initial Fertility and Initial Cosmetic Acupuncture patients. Our Women’s Wellness Retreat is selling fast - are you ready to join and .borrows and say yes to 3 nights of slowing down, tuning into your body, connecting with community and regulating your nervous system?

This is our second year hosting our Women’s Wellness Retreat at where we will be nourished by the amazing team at (the most delicious organic meals we’ve ever tasted)

Michelle and Brianna will facilitate daily movement and mindfulness practices, including yoga, Pilates, meditation and sound healing. Expect daily bush walks, sauna sessions and a dip in the magnesium pool.

My personal highlights of the retreat are always the rich conversations and connections made between guests đŸ«¶

Q: What is cosmetic acupuncture?

A: Cosmetic acupuncture is where we focus our treatment on each individual’s skin goals - this may include working on fine lines and wrinkles, supporting recovery from ache scarring, supporting pigmentation (we do this by working from the inside out) and lifting facial muscles.

Q: Do you only needle the face?

A: Nope! Cosmetic acupuncture shares the same intention as other acupuncture styles in that we want to treat the root cause for each individual. We want to work on the underlying patterns that may be influencing your facial patterns and clear out any imbalances that may be causing acne or pigmentation.

Q: Can I use my private health insurance for cosmetic acupuncture?

A: Absolutely! Cosmetic acupuncture is provided by our AHPRA registered therapists and is covered by most private health insurers when acupuncture is included as an extra.

Q: How many sessions do you need?

A: We recommend at least 10 sessions to achieve meaningfu results! Most people will purchase one of our packages (DM us for details).

Q: Can you do cosmetic acupuncture alongside injectables?

A: Absolutely. Our trained therapists know how to support your other skin based treatments, and cosmetic acupuncture can support to enhance other treatments you may be getting!

Q: Is there any down time?

A: Nope! Cosmetic acupuncture is an amazing toxfree alternative to support your skin health.
