✨ A wonderful day connecting with our local community!✨

Yesterday, the Rise Up OT team had the pleasure of attending the Aged Care Expo in Campbelltown, connecting with so many incredible local providers across the aged care, disability and allied health sectors 💙

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet other members of our community, build new connections, share ideas and learn more about the amazing services available locally.

We also loved the opportunity to share more about Rise Up Occupational Therapy Services and the support we can provide within the aged care space; an area we are incredibly passionate about. 🏡💙

From supporting independence and safety at home to equipment, home modifications, functional assessments and helping people continue to participate in the things that matter most, we are excited to continue growing our services and connections within aged care.

A huge thank you to Scope Home Access for hosting such a wonderful event and bringing together local providers and community organisations. It was a fantastic day of networking, collaboration and connection! 🤝✨

We’re looking forward to continuing to build strong relationships across our local community and working together to support older Australians to live safely, independently and meaningfully in their homes and communities 💙

🏠 HOME MODIFICATIONS | LEARNING, GROWING & CONNECTING 🏠

Yesterday, some of our Rise Up OT team had the opportunity to attend a fantastic Home Modifications course with Scope Home Access — and what a valuable day of learning! 📚✨

Our team explored a wide range of home modification solutions, including:

🔹 Grab rails & hand rails
🔹 Ramps & access solutions
🔹 Stair & platform lifts
🔹 Hand-held showers & lever taps
🔹 Major Home Modifications
🔹 And so much more!

It was a great opportunity to build our knowledge, expand our practical understanding and continue developing our skills in an area of practice we are so passionate about at Rise Up OT🏡💙

But it wasn’t all learning… there was plenty of laughing, connecting and team bonding along the way! 🤍

We love seeing our OTs come together over shared interests, knowledge and a genuine passion for creating meaningful, practical solutions that support people to live safely, independently and confidently in their own homes.

We’re committed to continually learning, improving and growing as clinicians so we can provide the highest quality of home modification services to the people we support. 🙌

Join us these school holidays for fun, engaging, therapist-led groups designed to build skills while having a great time!

🧩 Sensory Box Workshop (45 mins) – Create your own sensory box while exploring sensory regulation, creativity, and fine motor skills.

🎲 Game On! Social Explorers (1 hour) – Practise teamwork, turn-taking, winning and losing, and making connections through interactive games and challenges.

🎉 Holiday Party Workshop (1 hour) – Create decorations, make party snacks, build social skills, and celebrate with a disco party at the end!

All groups are facilitated by an Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapy Assistant.
