Hi, I’m Karyn — Human Biomechanics Specialist- Functional Patterns, Personal Trainer & Massage Therapist.

I’ve been in the fitness and wellness space for years, and like many, I used to think “good pain” was part of the process. I trained hard, but couldn’t get myself — or my clients — out of pain. Issues like scoliosis, joint pain, and chronic tension weren’t improving… until I found Functional Patterns in 2018.

FP just made sense. Training and moving the body the way nature intended — like a human — was the missing piece I’d been searching for.

I enrolled in the first 10-week online course, and never looked back. Since then, I’ve built a stronger, more resilient body, and now move pain-free. Even stress feels easier to handle when your body is aligned and functioning the way it should.

Now, my mission is to help others experience this shift — to live, move, and train pain-free.
