What is Orange Basket, and What Do We Do?

At Orange Basket Community Services, we believe that a job can be life-changing.

We are a South Australian registered charity and Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE). Our mission is simple: to mentor, train, and create genuine, paid employment opportunities for people living with disabilities.

We tackle unemployment head-on by operating local businesses powered by our incredible participants:
1. Orange Basket Cafe: A warm, commercial cafe in Hackham and Lonsdale (and soon to open at Seaford and Christie's Beach) staffed entirely by people living with disabilities.
2. Orange Basket Laundry: Delivering commercial and family laundry services while providing hands-on workplace training.
3. Micro Services: Office shredding and cleaning, creating pathways tailored to each individual's goals.
