There’s something about getting everyone in the same room.

Providers supporting different groups of people. Participants who’ve been navigating the same system from the other side. Families and carers who turn up with a list of questions and leave with actual answers. Friends who’ve come along to support someone they love and end up learning more than they expected.

That’s the bit we love. Not the stands, not the freebies , the conversations.

Everyone in that room is there for the same reason, because they care about someone, or they care about doing this work well. You feel it walking in.

We are people helping people. 🩵

At Resilient Life Care, no participant walks the road to secure housing alone. When homelessness is a real risk, we’re right there beside them, making the calls, chasing the paperwork, sitting in the hard conversations and holding the plan together until the door opens on a place they can call home.

🎉 A very proud week for us, Resilient Life Care is now a registered aged care provider.

When we started, the goal was simple: care that treats people as people, not as line items in a plan. That’s what we’ve tried to do across the NDIS, and it’s why this registration matters so much. It means we can now offer that same care to older Australians in our community.

Getting here took years of policies, audits, systems and paperwork. Enormous thanks to our team, who kept showing up for our participants while all of that was happening in the background. This is yours as much as ours. 🩵

What we can now offer:
🏡 Personal care, domestic assistance and daily support in your own home
🌎 Bilingual support workers and culturally responsive care , because being understood in your own language matters most when you’re vulnerable

We’re looking for someone who can hold a support worker team together, build the roster, back the team in, and keep participant supports running the way they should.

The role:
📅 Build and manage rosters, including sleepovers, weekends and on-call
🔁 Cover shifts, manage leave and keep continuity for participants
👥 Supervise, onboard and support the team
📋 Handle incidents, escalations and documentation
✅ Keep us aligned to the NDIS Practice Standards
You’d bring:
✔️ Experience supervising or coordinating support workers
✔️ Confidence with rostering systems and coverage under pressure
✔️ Sound NDIS knowledge, including SIL and sleepover arrangements
✔️ NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, licence and own car

We are thrilled to share that SW recently participated in an inspiring experience at MOPA (Museum of Play and Art) Melbourne.
MOPA is a place where creativity, imagination, and learning come together, providing engaging and interactive experiences for visitors of all ages. Our participation gave us the opportunity to explore innovative approaches to play, creativity, and collaboration while connecting with a vibrant community that values curiosity and lifelong learning.
The visit was filled with exciting discoveries, hands-on activities, and memorable moments that highlighted the power of creativity in bringing people together. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a unique and enriching environment.

Game face: ON 💙

Now this is how you do a Saturday. Laser tag, bowling, the arcade , and a competitive streak we did not see coming.

Community access is one of the most underrated supports in the NDIS. On paper it’’ a line item. In practice, it’’ the afternoon someone tries something brand new, holds their own in a game, and walks out taller than they walked in. It builds confidence, social skills and real-world independence , and it’’ genuinely good fun.

Huge credit to our participant for backing herself and giving it everything, and to our support workers for making the day happen.

At Resilient Life Care we support people across NDIS and aged care to live the life they want, not just get through the week.

🌳 Getting out into the world matters more than people realise. 💚

As support workers, one of the things we love most is encouraging the people we support to step out the front door and into new experiences, whether that’s exploring a local park, chasing a bit of adventure, or simply enjoying some fresh air and sunshine.

So many of the people we work with spend a lot of their time at home, and it can feel isolating. That’s why every outing counts. A walk in the park, a new place to explore, a friendly chat along the way, these small moments build confidence, connection, and a real sense of belonging.

Everyone deserves to feel part of their community. And we’re so proud to be part of that journey. 🌿✨

🎬 Movie day! ✨🩵

Jess enjoyed a wonderful outing to the cinema with her support worker to catch Moana on the big screen. From the popcorn to the singalong moments, it was a day full of smiles. 🌊🎶

At Resilient Life Care, we believe support is about more than just the everyday , it’s about creating joyful experiences and helping the people we support get out, connect, and do the things they love.
