Good morning everyone,

I hope you’re keeping well.

Have you ever had one of those tiny interactions with a complete stranger that leaves you smiling afterwards?

Someone lets you go ahead of them in the supermarket.

The person making your coffee has a laugh with you.

Someone compliments your shirt.

A stranger says hello while you’re out walking.

Or you have one of those completely random conversations with somebody you’ll probably never see again.

Nothing particularly important happened.

Nobody changed your life.

It was simply a nice moment between two people.

And I think sometimes we underestimate how much those little moments add to our days.

We tend to remember the rude person.

The impatient driver.

The person who annoyed the hell out of us.

But there are also hundreds of small, good interactions happening around us all the time.

And the lovely thing is, we get to create them too.

A smile.

A thank you.

A genuine compliment.

A little patience.

A laugh with someone.

Nothing profound today.

Just a reminder that being a nice human can make someone else’s day a little brighter.

And quite often, it makes ours brighter too.

Have a lovely Saturday.

Part 2 — Human Side

Why do we brush off a compliment?

Why is “No, I’m fine” sometimes our automatic response when someone offers to help?

And why can receiving something lovely leave us feeling as though we immediately need to repay it?

In Part 2 of today’s Conversations With Lee-Anne, we look at The Human Side of receiving.

Perhaps we don’t always have to earn what comes towards us.

Sometimes maybe we can simply say…

Thank you.

Part 1 — Spiritual Side

Why do we find it so hard to receive?

Many of us are quite comfortable giving — our time, support, kindness, love or simply being there when somebody needs us.

But when that generosity comes back towards us, somehow it can feel very different.

In Part 1 of today’s Conversations With Lee-Anne, I’m exploring receiving from The Spiritual Side — and whether receiving might actually be just as important a part of the exchange as giving.

And yes… this is one I probably need to think about myself. 😂

Good morning everyone,

I hope you’re keeping well.

A little reminder for today…

You are allowed to have a good day for absolutely no reason.

Nothing extraordinary needs to happen.

You don’t need to achieve something first.

You don’t need to have everything sorted.

And you certainly don’t need to wait until life is perfect.

Have the nice coffee.

Put the music on in the car.

Laugh at something ridiculous.

Buy yourself the flowers.

Sit in the sunshine for ten minutes.

Message the person who always makes you laugh.

Have dessert.

We can spend so much time working on ourselves, our lives and what comes next that sometimes we forget we’re actually supposed to enjoy being here as well.

So perhaps today doesn’t need to be about becoming a better version of yourself.

Perhaps you can just be the version who’s already here…

and let her have a nice Thursday.

Midweek can feel heavy sometimes.

Busy minds.
Mental overload.
Constant rushing.
Holding everything together for everyone else.

So each Wednesday before sunrise, I quietly send a gentle Essence Renewal© Distance Energy Re-Set to anyone who wishes to receive.

A small moment to pause.
Breathe.
Soften.
Reconnect with yourself again.

If you’d like to be included, simply comment below, or send your name through privately.

Good morning everyone,

I hope you’re keeping well.

For more than 20 years, I’ve regularly included healing for Mother Earth — Gaia — in my own practice and encouraged my Reiki Second Degree students to do the same.

But some time ago, I had a thought.

Why should this be limited to people who practise Reiki?

I don’t believe it should be.

And that is where the idea for the Gaia Healing Community began. 🌏💛

A community of people coming together at the same time, from wherever we happen to be, to send healing, prayer, love, compassion or positive intention to Gaia and wherever in the world it is needed.

No Zoom.
No registration.
No particular healing modality or experience required.

And with the devastating flooding currently affecting Nepal, it feels like the right time to begin.

So tomorrow, Wednesday 2nd September at 7.30pm Sydney time, I’m inviting you to join me.

We’ll begin where we are and gradually expand our intention:

Self → Our space → Home → Gaia → Local community → Country → Outward

Why begin with ourselves?

Because becoming grounded, centred and strengthened helps us hold the space for what we then send outward.

Self is not the destination. It is where the ripple begins.

Tomorrow our healing will extend to Gaia as a whole and wherever each of us feels called, while holding a special intention for Nepal — its people, communities, animals, land and waterways, and all those involved in rescue and recovery.

This doesn’t replace practical help. It is simply another way we can contribute.

Different homes.
Different places.
One shared intention. 🌏

Wednesday 2nd September

Wherever you are.

This is just the beginning of our Gaia Healing Community.

Good morning everyone,

I hope you’re keeping well.

There’s a particular kind of peace that comes when you realise something simply doesn’t have a hold on you anymore.

You don’t need another conversation about it.

You don’t need all the answers.

You don’t need somebody else to understand your side of the story.

And you don’t need to keep revisiting it to prove that you’ve moved on.

One day, you simply notice that it doesn’t feel as heavy as it once did.

The memory is still there.

The experience is still part of your story.

But it no longer gets to decide how you feel today, or where you go next.

Perhaps that’s one of the quieter forms of healing.

Not forgetting what happened.

Just finally being at peace with the fact that it did.

And allowing the past to be exactly where it belongs.

Behind you.

Good morning everyone,

I hope you’re keeping well.

Today is the last Sunday of winter.

And it got me thinking about how often we don’t realise how much has changed until we look back.

Three months ago, winter was just beginning.

Since then, life has continued doing what life does.

There have probably been good days and difficult ones.

Things you expected.

Things you didn’t.

Moments that mattered and plenty of completely ordinary ones in between.

And through all of it, you kept living.

Sometimes growth isn’t a huge transformation that we can clearly see happening.

Sometimes it’s simply the way we handle something differently than we once would have.

The boundary we finally keep.

The thing we no longer take personally.

The decision that becomes easier.

The courage to try again.

Or the quiet realisation that something which once had a hold over us simply doesn’t anymore.

Tomorrow is the last day of winter.

Before we rush into a new season, perhaps give yourself a little credit for the one you’ve just lived through.

You may have travelled further than you realise. 💛

Good morning everyone,

I hope you’re keeping well.

There are only a couple of days of winter left.

And while the calendar may say spring begins on Tuesday, nature already seems to know it’s on its way.

A little more sunshine.

New growth beginning to appear.

Flowers starting to bloom.

And that unmistakable feeling that the season is beginning to change.

So nothing particularly deep from me today.

If you can, get outside.

Feel the sun on your face.

Notice what’s beginning to bloom around you.

Enjoy your morning cuppa somewhere lovely.

And simply enjoy your Saturday.

Sometimes life doesn’t need to be analysed, improved or figured out.

Sometimes it’s just there to be enjoyed.

What if fear isn’t actually trying to stop you? Part 2

We often assume that feeling afraid means we shouldn’t do something.

But fear doesn’t always mean stop.

Sometimes it appears because we’re stepping beyond what is familiar — towards change, growth, a new opportunity, or simply something where we don’t yet know the outcome.

In today’s Conversations With Lee-Anne, we explore this from both sides:

✨ The Spiritual Side — when fear appears at the edge of growth and change.

🌿 The Human Side — why our brain and nervous system can respond to uncertainty as something that needs our attention.

Perhaps the question isn’t simply:

“Why am I afraid?”

Perhaps it’s:

“What is this fear actually trying to tell me?”

Have a listen to Parts 1 & 2 and see what comes up for you.
