Over the weekend, some of our Happi team had the pleasure of attending Down Syndrome Tasmania’s Spring Fling! Teege, Hilary and Mia had an awesome night filled with plenty of laughs, dancing, good food and even better company!

One of the highlights of the night was getting to watch our very own Stella MC the event alongside her dad, before hitting the dance floor with her dance group, Bright Stars! 🌟

We’ve been lucky enough to be part of Stella’s journey and seeing her continue to grow in confidence, challenge herself and achieve her goals is something pretty special. We couldn’t be prouder of her! 🤩

A massive thank you to Down Syndrome Tasmania for putting together such a fantastic event. It was great to see so many people come together, have a good time and support such an important organisation.

Safe to say we had a ball! 💚

🎃 HAPPI HALLOWEEN AT ROSNY BARN! 🎃
We’re so excited to be hosting our first ever Happi Halloween event on Saturday 31st October, and we’d love to see as many people there as possible! 🧡

Whether you’ve been out trick-or-treating or are just looking for something fun to do with the family, come along, dress up (if you wish!) and enjoy the Halloween festivities with us! Come along to the gardens of Rosny Barn for some FREE Halloween fun! Everyone is welcome!

It’s been a big August and September here at Happi Living, and we’re so excited to give you an update on what’s been happening! 🧡

We've been busy planning our Happi Halloween Hangout, and we can’t wait to see our community come together for a great night. Our Happi Living founder, Teege has been appointed the 2027 Men’s Senior Coach at Lindisfarne Football Club. It’s a huge achievement and so well deserved, congratulations!

Teal, Teege’s younger sister, and Henry, one of our participants, headed to Queensland to represent Tassie in soccer, and they did us proud! In the U11 Championship Cup (Tier 2), the team finished 23rd, placing 55th overall out of 124 teams. In the U10/11 Girls Championship Cup (Tier 2), the team finished 1st, which placed them 17th overall out of 40 teams. 🏆 Moments like this make us so happi, and they’re real-life examples of how the right support helps people live their best lives.

We’ve welcomed six new team members to the Happi Living family, and we’re so excited to have some new friendly faces on board. Welcome, everyone! 🙌

Our Halloween movie screening is here 👻

The Happi Halloween hangout kicks off at 5pm and is free for everyone to come along. Our screening of Casper the Friendly Ghost starts at 6:30pm and is a ticketed event. Tickets are on sale now, and spots are limited, so get yours quick!

The Happi Halloween Hangout is coming to the Rosny Barn on Saturday 31st October!
We’re hosting another FREE community event! The Happi Halloween Hangout is on from 5pm Saturday October 31st at the Rosny Barn! The event will feature food, drinks, love music, games and a best dressed award! Bring your a friends and family along and get into the spooky spirit while supporting our local community. We can’t wait to see you all there!

We will also be hosting a movie screening of Casper the Friendly Ghost at 6:30pm. Movie tickets are limited and go on sale tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled 👀

Today was an exciting day for our team member and participant Stella! She was lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit St Giles for a media day. Stella spoke about her life and her experience living with Down Syndrome and how she has been able to live a fulfilling and happi life and to have the opportunity to promote the Down Syndrome Tasmania’s Spring Fling event on October 17!

It’s so great watching Stella grow her confidence and public speaking skills and today was a great example of the progress she has made! Feeling empowered and supported to be able to get involved with opportunities like today makes us so proud and are truly what we aim for through our support here at Happi Living. 💚

Stella will be MCing the Spring Fling event, as well as performing a dance routine with her BrightStars dance group. We’d love you to come along and cheer Stella on and support Down Syndrome Tasmania!

Happy Father's Day to our Happi Living community! We hope everyone had a lovely day celebrating the dads and father figures in their lives. We're thankful for the patience, care, love and laughter that you bring to our lives every day. We also send our love to those who may be struggling today. 💚

Stella and Teege popped into Priceline Pharmacy Glenorchy to pick up our new first aid kits!

A big thank you to Aimee, who helped us put together the kits for our support workers to have with them while they’re out and about with our participants 🙌

It’s great knowing our team will have everything they need close by if those little bumps, cuts or unexpected moments pop up!

We’re super lucky to have some amazing people and businesses in our local community who support what we do. 💚
