I don’t care if I’m the villain in your story.

You’re the fu***ng clown in mine. 🤡

Because sometimes healing is realising that the people who painted you as the villain were simply uncomfortable with the version of you that stopped tolerating their bu****it.

And when you hold a mirror up to people, they don’t always like being witnessed especially when the reflection exposes the difference between their performative kindness and who they actually are when nobody’s watching. 🪞👹

No more explaining.
No more proving.
No more shrinking.

Just boundaries, self-trust, nervous-system regulation and the courage to stop participating in someone else’s performance.

Let them tell their story. I’m sure the performance needs an audience.

You know what you witnessed.

✨ A new chapter of healing ❤️‍🔥

I’m so excited to share that next weekend I’ll be heading to one of my favourite places, Balingup, to upskill in Romi Romi & Miri Miri and bring another layer of ancestral healing into Sweet Fire Healing. 🌿✨

After advancing to Reiki Master this year, it feels like such a natural next step. Romi Romi & Miri Miri will beautifully complement the healing modalities I already offer, while allowing me to deepen my connection with energy, wairua, whenua and ancestral wisdom.

There’s something especially personal about this journey for me. The tattoo on the side of my face was created from energy drawn from a photograph of my ancestors, alongside the kawakawa plant; a representation of my connection to my whakapapa and the ancestral energy that continues to guide me.

So this isn’t simply about adding another modality to my practice. It feels like coming home to another part of myself and my lineage. 🤍

And while this mahi is deeply connected to my Māori whakapapa, Romi Romi & Miri Miri is something I’m excited to share respectfully with both Māori and non-Māori clients. Healing is for everyone and I want Sweet Fire Healing to remain a welcoming space for anyone who feels called to this work. 🌿

Lately I’ve had quite a few people ask whether I offer Reiki via distance because they haven’t been able to find anyone locally for an in-person session.

The answer is absolutely yes. 🤍

While I genuinely love holding space for one-on-one sessions, distance Reiki is something I love just as much. There’s something so special about receiving healing from the comfort and safety of your own home. No rushing to appointments, no driving afterwards just time to fully surrender, receive and integrate.

In fact, when I book Reiki for myself, I actually prefer receiving it online for that very reason.

Energy isn’t limited by distance. It flows where it’s needed.

Sometimes healing isn’t about finding your voice; it’s about giving yourself permission to use it.

There’s something empowering about allowing yourself to be heard, even if your voice shakes.

I’ve always loved singing and recently I found myself singing A Million Reasons by Lady Gaga with the acoustics of an empty house. No audience. No performance. Just raw expression.

Funny enough, people have always told me I look a little like Gaga. We’re even the same height. 😊 Maybe that’s one of the reasons her music has always resonated with me.

Don’t you get worried about posting your content publicly?”

No.

Because visibility is the cost of admission.

You don’t get to ask for growth, connection, opportunities, impact, or community while trying to remain completely unseen.

People will judge.
People will misunderstand.
People will watch.

And honestly, if someone is consistently watching my content and keeping up with what I’m doing… they’re still contributing to my visibility. Engagement is engagement. Whether they follow me or not.

But more importantly, I don’t envy people who spend their energy monitoring someone else’s life.

Because the same energy used to watch, judge, or obsess over others could be invested into becoming the person they themselves want to be.

Peace comes from returning your attention to yourself.

And if someone chooses not to do that, there’s nothing I could say and no punishment I could give that would ever compare to having to wake up every day and live as themselves.

That’s their journey.

Mine is to keep creating.
To keep sharing.
To keep allowing myself to be seen.

Because the price of hiding is far greater. ✨🤍

🔥✨New Chapter for Sweet Fire Healing ✨🔥

I’ve recently made the move to Perth and stepped into a new chapter of life.
This transition has also included my own personal name change & leaning more fully into who I am becoming.

A big part of this decision has been choosing to prioritise my health, which has meant moving closer to the medical support and treatment options that help me manage my Endometriosis. While I speak openly about it, much of this journey has happened behind the scenes. And if I documented every time I was doubled over in pain, we’d be here for a while.

Over the years, I’ve spent a lot of time coming to terms with what my new normal looks like learning how to navigate life alongside a chronic condition, adjusting my expectations and finding ways to support myself through the challenges it brings. This move is one of the ways I’m choosing to honour that process and give myself the best chance to thrive.

I’m deeply grateful to my clients, students, mentors and like-minded spiritualists for their patience, understanding and support through this time, especially those who have been flexible while I’ve been re-establishing my space and routine.
