Logan Team - Palliative Care Update

Yesterday we dropped off another 4 much needed boxes to the Palliative Care ward - one didn’t even make it to the shelf as a nurse grabbed it as I walked in the door.🤣

Will be dropping another 4 boxes in next Friday as fortunately/unfortunately our boxes are in high demand at the moment.

As you can see from the photos, in just 24 hours, the 4 boxes we took in, are already with families on the ward.
So… we need your help, as our supplies are running low.

We have attached a list of what goes into our boxes and if you happen to pass a Silly Sollys or any cheap shop they are a great source for more than half the items on the list.

Wonderful night out at the Friends of Palliative Care Logan Masquerade Ball. The video Gillian Myles shared was very moving and we appreciative of our Lisa’s Lunches Palliative Care Boxes being included.❤️💜🧡
Can’t wait to do it all again next year… now to think of a theme.🤔

So hope this week flys by. Countdown is on until the Friends of Palliative Care Logan’s Masquerade Ball Saturday night! 😱

Kylee and I looking forward to frocking up and raising our glasses to say thankyou the hardworking and dedicated palliative care clinicians, support workers, volunteers and staff that give their all everyday to look after our loved ones and their families at the worst time in their lives.

We are also looking forward to raising some much needed funds so as they can continue to provide the best health care possible.

The Palliative Care Box Project.

This is a wonderful initiative introduced by Lisa’s Lunches last year.

By donating $50 we can refill a palliative care box with the option of donating it in memory of your loved one (see first photo for all the details on how to donate)
