1. I relax by watching reality TV πŸ™ˆ

2. I drink a mountain of peppermint tea

3. We did the Inca trail for our honeymoon, it was beautiful and epic all the things AND I also got my period on day one of a 4 day hike - I whinged a lot each night.

4. I really love the colour pink and spent most of my late teens / early twenties denying it because I thought it meant something bad about the "type of girl I was" 🀯. Wild.

5. Moving across the country rattled my sense of self and identity, the surprising journey of figuring that out has been tumultuous to say the least.

It's time to embrace all the parts of who we are, I love that you're here. Appreciate you x

The 20 year old version of myself felt compelled to share the thing I would have wanted to hear.

If we don't speak these things outloud, we start to think it's just us. Isolated in our body image struggles, holding ourselves back.

When we bring light to hard places, it no longer feels as heavy or as lonely. We remind each other that we're in this together and can both have hard body days and embrace really living at the same time.

1. The beliefs we have & the stories we tell about who we are and what we can do might not be accurate.

2. Taking action first can lead to new beliefs which could unlock a bunch of beauty you never knew was there for you.

3. Exercise is an excellent way to create proof for yourself that you're capable of epic things.

Ever noticed differences in your pelvic floor function throughout your menstrual cycle?

Yep it's a thing. The pelvic floor is a group of muscles and the strength of them can be impacted by the change in our hormone levels across our cycle.

It's okay to adjust our exercise accordingly whether that be the intensity, the duration or the type of exercise we choose. There's always an option that can still help us move well and become stronger.
