We’re excited to announce that Bunya Care’s Kingaroy branch has welcomed another vehicle to our fleet today!

This additional vehicle will allow us to provide even greater flexibility in supporting our participants to access a wider range of community activities, appointments, and social outings. It will help us create more opportunities for meaningful community engagement while ensuring participants receive the support they need to achieve their NDIS goals.

Thank you all for your continued dedication. We look forward to making the most of this new addition to better support our participants and their independence.

As Josh said, “Bring on the fishing trips, BBQs, and bike rides along the Rail Trail!” We can’t wait to create even more enjoyable and meaningful experiences for the people we support.

Bunya Care has a special place in its heart for supporting this foundation because we believe every child deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported, and confident in their future.

Every child deserves the chance to feel safe, supported, and confident in their future, but for many children in foster care, that is far from reality.

Frequent moves between homes and schools can disrupt their learning, relationships, and sense of stability. Without the right support, these challenges can have lasting effects on their education, wellbeing, and future opportunities.

That is why Bunya Care is proudly taking part in National Pyjama Day on 24 July 2026.

By wearing our pyjamas and raising funds, we are helping The Pyjama Foundation give children in foster care something truly life-changing: a dedicated Pyjama Angel mentor.

Your donation will help recruit, screen, train, and match a Pyjama Angel with a child who needs them most. These volunteer mentors do so much more than read books or help with homework – they build trust, confidence, and a love of learning that can change the course of a child's life.

At Bunya Care, supporting vulnerable children and creating positive futures is something we are deeply passionate about, which is why this foundation holds a special place in our hearts.

Someone was very happy today after getting herself two new pet budgies, who also happen to be brothers! 🐦💙

Moments like these are so important in supporting people to live a meaningful and fulfilling life within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment. Having the opportunity to make personal choices, care for pets, and enjoy everyday experiences helps promote independence, routine, companionship, and emotional wellbeing — all while creating a true sense of home.

At Bunya Care, we are passionate about providing person-centred care that supports individuals to live as independently and normally as possible, while encouraging choice, inclusion, and quality of life.
