Support Worker Wanted – Immediate Start

Empowered Voices is currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team with immediate capacity available.

We are seeking people who are passionate about supporting individuals to achieve their goals, increase independence, and engage in their community.

Requirements:
✅ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
✅ Current Working With Children Check
✅ Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
✅ Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Qualification in disability support required

A huge thank you to Devine Equine for so warmly welcoming us out to your beautiful property.

It was incredibly special to not only experience firsthand what so many of our participants are currently engaging in and absolutely loving, but also to see the joy it brought to our own children as well. Watching them connect, build confidence and simply enjoy the environment was such a lovely experience.

We truly appreciate the time, care and inclusive atmosphere you provide for children, families and participants within our community. Thank you again for the opportunity, we can absolutely see why your sessions are so enjoyed by so many 🤍

Hi everyone,

At Empowered Voices we run a free social group every Monday for people living with disability to come together, socialise, build friendships, have a chat, and enjoy different creative activities in a safe and welcoming environment. 💜

We are putting a call out to our community to see if anyone has any unused craft supplies they would be willing to donate, such as:

🎨 Paint
🖌 Paint brushes
🖼 Canvases
✏️ Colouring or drawing supplies
🧶 Wool/yarn
🧵 Knitting or crochet items
📒 Craft materials
…and anything similar

One of our participants especially loves knitting, so any unused wool would be greatly appreciated.

We kindly ask that items are unused and in good condition where possible.

Community connection and creativity can make such a huge difference, and we truly appreciate any support from our local community. 💜

Today we celebrate all the incredible mums, grandmothers, carers, mother figures, and women who give so much of themselves every single day. Your love, strength, patience, and support make such a difference in the lives of those around you.

We especially want to acknowledge the mums and carers within the disability community who continue to advocate, support, and stand beside their loved ones through every challenge and milestone. You are seen, valued, and appreciated more than words can express.

We hope today brings you love, appreciation, and a moment to feel proud of everything you do 💜

Today I went to Yalca North Cemetery
With the kids and my mum,
To visit you, honour you,
And reflect on the friendship
That meant so much to my life.
