As Shayne moves on, we bid him farewell and offer our best wishes. During his time at Red Bantam and The Birdhouse Crew, Shayne has gained valuable experience in various roles. Having secured new paid employment, we congratulate Shayne on his achievement and wish him well.

Aaron and Coen kicked off the day at Quirky Turkey, building their teamwork skills. After heading back to Birdhouse for morning tea, both young men showed great patience and focus while exploring a different style of artwork — they both appeared to enjoy the finished product. Of course, the highlight for both was some well-earned free time after lunch, which brought plenty of smiles and good vibes to finish off the day!

Two fantastic projects completed today at The Birdhouse Crew.
Spencer put the finishing touches to the “esky” he has been working on and Shayne delivered the shelves he has been making for Bright Birds.

For our last day of 2025, Shayne decided to tackled the 1kg Gerogery steak challenge!
No one else was game to attempt! Although it was a fail, Shayne gave it a red hot crack!

Today’s outing with Georgia and Shania was to Rutherglen. We visited Hennessy Home and Garden for their terrarium bar (this has become a favourite visiting spot for a few of our crew). Xmas presents were made and then a lovely lunch together before heading back to Dallinger Rd to relax before heading home.
A really nice day.

As we start wrapping up the year, you may notice some changes. We are now beginning to offer more “grab and go” lunch options.

A beautiful day for a walk along the riverside today. We were lucky enough to run into our friends Alex and Sarah from “Hello Little One Dog Walking”. Alex, Sarah and their two little friends walked with us for a while and chatted.
AWAR was our next stop. Aaron was the favourite today with several cats wanting his attention.
After lunch we are exploring our own individual interests. Coen and Aaron are on the computers researching their favourite subjects and Dan is working on his scrapbook album.

03 December– International Day of People with Disability 🌟A day dedicated to promoting awareness, understanding, and acceptance of people with disabilities within our community.

We attended a very thoughtful event hosted by Wodonga City Council today at The Cube in Wodonga.
It was wonderful to see the community come together to celebrate inclusion, connection, and the spirit of this very important day.
