✨❄️ Festival of Wagga – Monthly Social Outing ❄️✨

What a fantastic night we had at the Festival of Wagga for our monthly social outing! 💗

The evening was filled with laughter, fun and plenty of great memories, including beautiful light displays once the sun went down, ⛸️ ice skating, 🍔 dinner from the food vans and lots of time enjoying the festival together.

Even with some last-minute rostering changes, the boss didn’t let that stop her! She still attended the outing and was able to bring her youngest along to join in the festivities. 💕

It also meant an extra set of hands—and plenty of support, encouragement and laughs on the ice! She got out there with our participants, helping everyone find their confidence, giving encouragement and, of course, sharing a few wobbly moments along the way. ⛸️😂

That’s what our social outings are all about—joining in, having a go, supporting one another and creating opportunities for everyone to enjoy new experiences together. 🌻

Who's ready for another fantastic day out? 🌟

This month we're heading to Junee for a fun-filled social outing where we'll be visiting the Junee Roundhouse Railway Museum and the Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory!

📅 Thursday, 20th August 2026

We'll step back in time as we explore the fascinating history of Australia's railways before treating ourselves to some delicious licorice, chocolate and other sweet goodies. It's the perfect opportunity to get out, make new friendships, enjoy great company and create lasting memories together.

Whether you're a train enthusiast, have a sweet tooth, or simply enjoy getting out and about with others, we'd love for you to join us! ❤️

🏁 What a fantastic day out at Gogeldrie Weir! 🏁

Our participants had an amazing time spending the day watching the exciting mower racing action! It was wonderful to see people of all ages coming together to enjoy a fun-filled community event, with plenty of laughter, great conversations, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day.

The event was such a huge success that we're excited to hear it will be returning next year—and we're already looking forward to attending again! 🚜💨

One of the best parts of our outings is seeing friendships continue to grow while everyone enjoys getting out into the community and experiencing new events together.

Emma has a wonderful way of making people feel comfortable and supported, and I have seen firsthand how easily she connects with my participants, all with their own unique personalities and support needs.

🔥 Bonfire Night at Whitton Malt House 🔥

What an incredible evening we had at the Whitton Malt House Bonfire Night! 🧡

Our social outing wasn't just about the spectacular bonfire, delicious food, and great atmosphere—it was also about something just as important: taking time to relax, recharge, and enjoy each other's company.

Our participants and staff spent the evening laughing, chatting, and making wonderful memories together. It was a fantastic reminder that self-care, mental health and wellbeing are so important, and sometimes the best way to recharge is by spending quality time with friends, family, and those around you.

You'll notice we don't have many photos from the night... and that's because we were all far too busy enjoying ourselves! 📸❤️ Sometimes the best moments are the ones lived in the moment rather than through a camera lens.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special. We can't wait for our next adventure together!

🌿🦏 Monthly Social Outing – Altina Wildlife Park 🦒🦘

What an amazing day we had exploring Altina Wildlife Park with our wonderful participants! 💕

We started our adventure by walking around the park, taking our time to admire the smaller animals in their exhibits and learning about the incredible wildlife they care for.

Next, we hopped aboard the park's guided cart tour, where we were driven around the larger enclosures while learning fascinating facts about the animals from the knowledgeable keepers. Our absolute favourite moment was watching the adorable baby rhino chasing after its keeper – it had everyone laughing and smiling! 🦏💗

After our adventure, we stayed to enjoy a delicious lunch together, giving everyone the opportunity to relax, chat, and share their favourite moments from the day.

One of the things we value most at Stacey's Individualised Supports is seeing Support Providers working collaboratively. It was wonderful to see participants continue friendships across different providers, making community outings even more meaningful and inclusive. Working together helps create stronger connections and better outcomes for everyone. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. We can't wait for our next adventure!
