Not a file. Not a funding category. Not an NDIS number. Just two people being ridiculous together because it's genuinely fun to hang out.

We don't see a client. We don't see a participant. We see the person, exactly as they are.

This is what happens when you do that.

We see you. That's Aligned.

Sometimes empowerment looks like achieving a big goal.

And sometimes it looks like this.

A laugh with someone who gets you.
A game of pool.
Getting out of the house.
Trying something new.
Feeling confident enough to make your own choices.

It’s the feeling of being seen, valued and included.

Because everyone deserves more than just support.

They deserve a life that feels like theirs!

That’s what "Empowering You" means to us. ❤️

Employee of the Month: KYM DIXON 💛

Ask anyone on the team about Kym and you'll hear the same things.

The way she builds real trust with the people she supports. The calm she brings when things get hard. The fact that she'll drop anything to help a colleague out.

Kym supports some of our clients with the most complex needs, and she does it with warmth, patience and total respect, every single shift. Her clients feel safe with her. That's not something you can train. That's just Kym.

Congratulations Kym and thank you for everything you bring to this team. 🐶💙

Employee of the Month: Emily Tupkovic!

Emily is a valued Team Leader at Aligned Community Care who consistently demonstrates dedication and commitment to the clients she supports.
She works closely with participants to help them achieve their goals, providing encouragement, guidance, and motivation every step of the way. Emily is also a strong team player who communicates effectively, inspires and uplifts those around her, and is always willing to be flexible to meet the needs of both clients and colleagues.
Her reliability, positive attitude, and passion for supporting others make her a true asset to Aligned Community Care.

She puts it best herself:
“My time at ACC has been incredibly rewarding and something I’m truly grateful for. Being part of this team has given me the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, while working alongside such supportive and dedicated people. What I enjoy most about ACC is the strong sense of community, the relationships built along the way with our stakeholders, and the chance to contribute to our participants in a way that is welcoming, meaningful, and focused on making a positive impact.”

Congratulations Emily, and thank you for the care, leadership, and positivity you bring to the team.

AM I WRONG?
You open the update. You read it twice. And you still don't know anything more than you did before.
"Participant had a good week. Staff supported with daily living tasks. No concerns to report."
Cool. But what does that actually tell you?
It doesn't tell you whether the morning routine is taking longer than it used to. It doesn't tell you if the behaviour support plan is being followed. It doesn't tell you what's working, what's not, or whether the supports are actually aligned with the goals in the plan.
For the people trying to do their jobs, coordinating supports, adjusting therapy goals, reviewing behaviour strategies — a vague update isn't just unhelpful. It creates more work. More follow-up calls. More chasing. More gaps.
And that's why at Aligned Community Care we believe we have a responsibility to be a genuine part of the support team! not just a house manager sending a weekly box-tick.
That means data-driven updates. Real observations. Incident patterns. Goal progress. The kind of information that actually moves the needle for the people we all support.
Because when everyone has the right information, better outcomes follow.

Origin 2 predictions got PERSONAL!
We asked Guildford House for their score predictions… safe to say there wasn’t much love for Queensland.

The team has spoken, but who’s actually getting it right?

We asked the Aligned crew for their State of Origin predictions. Winners, scores, and a few very confident calls.

Drop your prediction below.

We love these conversations

If your SIL provider only calls when something's wrong - that's not support. That's a crisis hotline with a logo.

Silence isn't stability. Families deserve updates on the wins, the progress, the patterns - not just the problems.

Good support looks like communication. Consistency. A team that actually shows up before things fall apart.

At Aligned Community Care, we believe visibility IS part of the job.

2026 so far!

A little bit of growth, a little bit of chaos, a lot of good memories - and somehow we’re only just getting started.

Grateful for the people, the moments, and everything this year has already brought.
