✨🎉 BIG THINGS ARE COMING TO THE RIGHT START FOUNDATION! 🎉✨

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and we are so excited to finally let you know that some amazing changes are coming to our family meet-ups!

📣 Keep an eye on our page! By the end of this week, we’re hoping to announce the dates for our much-loved Shine Shed Family Fun Days… but that’s not all!

🌟 We’re also introducing brand new family fun day venues and experiences to give our families even more opportunities to connect, make friendships, create memories and simply enjoy time together.

💙 We have one important favour to ask…

To make these events possible, we really need accurate RSVP numbers. Unfortunately, we’ve had a number of occasions where families have selected “Going” but haven’t attended. This makes it difficult to book venues and can result in unnecessary costs for our charity.

To help with this, some events may require a very small deposit to secure your place. This isn’t about making money—it’s simply to help us ensure that the families who book are the families who come along. As always, The Right Start Foundation will continue to subsidise and cover as much of the event costs as possible.

As one of only two registered Down syndrome charities in NSW (alongside Down Syndrome NSW), every dollar we spend goes towards supporting our families, so your commitment to attending when you RSVP really does make a difference.

Our events are for EVERYONE! ALL AGES!!

Not just children aged 0–12.

We Want everyone to be included and will be having more events catering to all ages!

Whether your loved one is a toddler, a teenager or an adult, our goal is to create opportunities where all individuals with Down syndrome and their families feel welcomed, included and supported.

💙 We truly believe the best memories are made together, and we have so many exciting things planned for the months ahead.

A huge thankyou to all of our volunteers for helping us raise funds tonight at the Wests Tigers game.

A massive Thank you also to everyone who purchased there 50/50 tickets either online or at the game. 🥳👍👏. We truly appreciate you all.❤️

A total prize pool of $11,300 was raised with the Winner James L taking home the prize of $5666.50 and the remainder we so greatfully accept here at The Right Start Foundation supporting families touched by Down Syndrome.

Whilst the Tigers didn’t win this one, we certainly hope to have the honour of being back again for a successful win.

Thankyou for having us and being such a caring and wonderful crowd.
