This is the juice I make when I don’t have words for what I need.

Apple. Pear. Carrot.

Sweet. Warm in colour. Soft.

In the book I call it Comfort.

Not comfort as in a treat. Comfort as in: something given to someone who needs to be held for a moment.

Right now it’s transitioning into summer where I am — for you it’s probably transitioning into the cooler months of the year. Two different seasons, two different skies. But this juice belongs to both. There’s something about this time of year, wherever you’re standing, that asks you notice the shift. To tend to yourself a little more carefully.

This is the one I reach for when the season changes and my body hasn’t caught up yet.

3 medium apples
2 ripe pears
3 carrots
1 k**b of ginger

Wash. Chop. Juice together. Drink it slowly. Notice how it feels — not what it’s doing. Just how it feels.

That noticing is the whole practice.

Juice is my go to, particularly now that I am travelling.

What I love is life and overwhelm can start to be simplified with two questions. How do I feel today? What do I need?

Wild Heart and my journey has evolved around these two questions and from these questions grew something I come back to every day — five Intentions. Not goals. Not prescriptions. Just five feelings to move toward.

Comfort — when the day has been too much and you need something quiet to come home to.

Steady — when everything is moving too fast and you need something to hold onto.

Restore — when you’ve been giving everything to everyone and there’s not much left for you.

Clear — when your head is full and the quiet feels far away.

Reset — when you just need to begin again. Simply. Gently.

Two questions. A pause. An invitation to listen and notice where you are, and meet yourself there.

That’s what Wild Heart is.

How do you feel today? Drop it in the comments — I’d love to know where you are right now.

Memories from 2 years ago 🤍

Two years ago I was building something.
A business. A vision. A collection of products designed to support people with life. I created a 3 Day Done for You program with juice, snacks and GF/DF meals. A concierge to help get things done and I had retreats organised.

I believed in it.

And then I closed it.

Not because the dream was wrong — but because timing, life, and the weight of trying to hold it all together said not yet.
I won’t pretend that it was easy. There’s a particular kind of loss in closing something and it’s not just financial.

The thing about Facebook memories is they have no idea what they’re doing when they show up. They’re just a date and a photo and a ‘remember this?’ reminder.

This one arrived today, the morning after I reactivated Wild Heart Juice the product that was integral to the Bounty business.

It’s weird how time goes by with no real significance to a date so this memory seemed more than a coincidence to me.

It was a reminder from a version of me who hadn’t stopped dreaming — who was already, two years ago, reaching toward something.

It’s hard to give up on the thing that keeps coming back.

A chapter may close. There may be something you need to put down for a while. You might need time, or clarity, or just the right season.

But if it comes back — if you keep coming back to it — that feels like a knowing.

I went quiet on this page. Life moved fast and in a completely different direction. I didn’t know how to show up here without the shop — but I never stopped thinking about you.

I knew that Wild Heart was special. I couldn’t let it go. So I wrote a book — and it is dedicated to you.

In mid 2023, I took over Wild Heart Juice Co. I didn’t fully understand the calling until I closed the shopfront. The shop was more than a place to buy cold-pressed juice. It was a place for nourishment.

I know you travelled out of your way for a juice.

You were busy. You didn’t have much time for yourself. You were tired — quietly, in the way that women who hold everything together for everyone else get tired. The kind of tired that doesn’t show on the outside until someone asks a question about you. How do you feel today? What do you need? The overwhelm spills over.

You didn’t know what you needed. You just knew you needed something. Something nourishing.

That moment is why these two questions exist.

How do I feel today?
What do I need?

I watched what happened when you felt heard — when you slowed down and listened to yourself. Something in you settled. You didn’t need me to fix anything — you just needed someone to be with you for a moment. To understand that quiet exhaustion and the unnamed need.

You showed me that on some days what you needed was warmth and softness — something tender. I called that Comfort.

On the days when your footing felt uncertain — when life felt like it was pulling you in every direction — you needed something steady beneath you. I called that Steady.

When you were truly depleted, when you’d given everything to everyone and there was nothing left, you needed to receive. To be replenished without having to earn it. I called that Restore.

When your mind was full and noisy and you couldn’t hear yourself think, let alone hear yourself feel — you needed space. I called that Clear.

And on the days when you just needed to begin again — quietly, gently, without making a big deal of it — I called that Reset.

Comfort. Steady. Restore. Clear. Reset.

You gave me these intentions.

I started writing the book 12 months ago but I never felt that it was finished, there was so much more to the story than just juice.

This book did start as a juice book. Recipes built around the five Intentions, guided by two questions but it kept growing — because you kept showing me that the juice was the door in, and what you actually needed was waiting on the other side.

Everything that grew from those conversations is here.

40 cold-pressed juice recipes, every one connected to an Intention and four bonuses: Wild Heart Moments, the 2 Day Return to Centre, Eat with Intention, and Intentional Bites. Plus 13 wallpapers for your phone.

A juicing book bundled with an unhurried way of coming back to yourself.

It exists because you walked in. Because you opened up. Because you cried. Because you apologised for something that needed no apology at all.

Because of you, I’m here today with a book and bonuses that I am incredibly proud of.

As for where I am now — Pete and I asked ourselves the same two questions.

How do we feel? What do we need?

The answers looked a little different from what either of us expected.

We sold almost everything we owned, packed two backpacks, and left Mackay.

We’re currently in Thailand — about to cross into Vietnam — figuring out what a meaningful life looks like when you strip it back to what actually matters.

It turns out the questions work at every scale.

If you want to follow that part of the story, you can find us over at it’s unpolished, and we’re still very much in the early days.

This page will be for you, the Wild Heart Women that taught me so much.

I would love to hear from you.
