Multiple Positions Available | Makodah Care

Makodah Care is currently seeking multiple Support Workers to join our growing team on the Central Coast.

We are a small, participant-focused NDIS provider with strong lived experience and a genuine understanding of how important the right support worker match can be. This role would suit someone who is calm, patient, reliable, and able to build trust and rapport in a family-centred environment.

Some providers start in boardrooms.

We started because we’ve lived the gaps in support ourselves.

Makodah Care was created after seeing too many people treated like numbers — rushed services, poor matches, cancelled shifts, and support that never truly felt personal.

We know firsthand that the right support can change everything.

Real support is built on trust, consistency, genuine connection, and being understood by people who truly get you.

That’s why we carefully match participants with support workers based on personality, values, lifestyle, similar interests, and the way they show up every day — because the best supports are built through real relationships.

If you or someone you care about is ready for support that truly feels right, get in touch with us today

March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, a time to recognise the strength, resilience, and diversity of people living with cerebral palsy.

At Makodah Care, this awareness is deeply personal.
Our Director lives with Cerebral Palsy, and that lived experience shapes the way we deliver support every single day.

We understand that disability support isn’t just about services — it’s about respect, dignity, and empowering people to live the life they choose.

Cerebral Palsy is a lifelong condition caused by damage to the developing brain that affects movement, posture and coordination. Every person’s experience with CP is different.

Some facts about Cerebral Palsy in Australia:

• Around 34,000–40,000 Australians live with cerebral palsy.
• 1 in 700 children in Australia are born with cerebral palsy.
• It is the most common physical disability in childhood.

At Makodah Care, we believe lived experience matters. It gives us a deeper understanding of the challenges people face, and a genuine commitment to providing support that is person centred, respectful, and empowering.

This month we stand with individuals, families, and the wider disability community to promote awareness, inclusion, and understanding.
