This is what release can sometimes look like.

During breathwork, it’s not uncommon for the body to shake, tremble, cry, laugh or experience waves of emotion.

Because stress, emotions and past experiences aren’t just stored in the mind. They can also be held in the body and nervous system.

When we spend years pushing things down, staying busy or simply surviving, the body often doesn’t get the opportunity to fully process and release what it’s carrying.

47 mental tabs open. Every one of them pinging. None of them closing.

Go for your walk. Pack the lunches. Wash the soccer uniform. Buy the dog food. Reply to that email. And somewhere in there, look after yourself.

This is what an overstimulated nervous system feels like from the inside, and no, you’re not lazy or broken. Your system is stuck in survival, trying to do everything at once because it doesn’t feel safe enough to slow down.

The fix isn’t a better to-do list. It’s teaching your body that it’s safe to come back to the present.

Regulation, not override. That’s the work we do here.

Parents will understand 😂
