POV: you want to be a present parent
but you also haven’t sat down in peace since 2019 👀

You love them.

You want to watch the Lego creation. You want to listen to the 47 minute explanation of exactly how it works

But some days your nervous system is quietly saying, “I have absolutely nothing left.” 😅

Parenting can be this constant pull between wanting to give them your full attention and desperately needing five minutes where nobody needs anything from you.

So yes, this is a joke
but if you’re a parent, you probably felt this one in your soul 😂

And maybe the real parent hack isn’t the fake blinking eyes
it’s remembering you’re allowed to recharge too.

Comment “SNAPSHOT” below and I’ll send you my Nervous System Snapshot to get you started.

You can still go to work.
Still answer the messages.
Still look after everyone else.
Still get through the day.

And because you’re functioning, you tell yourself you’re fine.

But underneath it, your body might still be bracing. You might be constantly thinking ahead, struggling to switch off, feeling irritable, disconnected, exhausted or like you’re always waiting for the next thing to happen.

When that becomes your normal, it can be hard to even recognise how much you’re carrying.

Breathwork gives you a chance to stop analysing everything for a moment and actually notice what’s happening in your body.

If you’re reading this and thinking, this sounds a little too familiar, start with our Nervous System Snapshot. It’s designed to help you understand where you might be sitting right now and what your next step could look like.

You can’t think your way out of everything.

Sometimes you need to get out of your head and actually give your body the space to slow down, release and reset.

That’s what these sessions are about.

Using the breath to go a little deeper, reconnect with yourself and create space for whatever you’ve been carrying.

Our next Survival to Safety session is coming up soon. If you’ve been feeling like you need something more than just another “self care” day, come and experience this for yourself.

This is the part that gets us every time.

The hugs afterwards.

The conversations.

The little smiles when everyone comes back together.

There’s something really special about watching people arrive carrying so much, then seeing them leave feeling softer, lighter and more connected.

Survival to Safety can be a big experience, but this is the part we love most. That feeling at the end when everyone just gets it

Our next Survival to Safety session is coming up soon, and if you’ve been watching these sessions thinking, I think I need this, take this as your sign.

Come experience it for yourselfđŸ€

When life gets busy, your relationship can quietly become about getting through the day.

Work. Kids. Dinner. Bedtimes.
Responsibilities.

Then you wake up and do it all again.

Sometimes you need the space to slow down, breathe and actually reconnect. Not as parents or as the people keeping everything running
but as the two people who chose each other in the first place. đŸ€

That connection matters.

If you and your partner feel like you’ve been stuck in survival mode lately, come and experience Survival to Safety together.

This is what happens when you give yourself permission to stop holding everything together.

At our last Survival to Safety experience, we used breathwork, connection and guided practices to create space to slow down, tune into the body and explore what it feels like to move out of constant survival mode.

Some people experience emotion. Some feel release. Some find stillness. Every experience is different, and there’s no expectation of what yours should look like.

You don’t need any previous breathwork experience. You just need to be willing to show up and experience it for yourself.

Ready to see what Survival to Safety could feel like for you?

Apparently it’s kinda chic to build something you believe in with the people you love đŸ€Ž

Husband and wife, mates becoming part of the team, plenty of laughs along the way and a shared passion for helping people move from survival to safety.

We’ve built Primal Breath & Coaching around connection, community and doing work that genuinely means something to us.

And yeah
 we think that’s pretty chic.

You can be getting on with work, providing for your family, showing up for everyone around you and still feel like something isn’t quite right.

Always switched on. Easily frustrated. Struggling to properly relax. Feeling like you constantly need to keep going.

You don’t have to wait until you hit breaking point to start paying attention to what your body is telling you.

Our Nervous System Snapshot is a place to start.

Take a few minutes, answer honestly and get a clearer picture of where your nervous system may be sitting right now.

“I felt like there was a band across my chest
and afterwards, I just felt calm and at peace.” đŸ€

This is why we do Survival to Safety.

Hearing someone describe the shift they felt within themselves after the experience is incredibly powerful. Sometimes we don’t realise just how much tension we’ve been carrying until we finally give our body the space to let some of it go.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re constantly switched on, overwhelmed or simply ready to reconnect with yourself, our next Survival to Safety experience is coming up.

You don’t want to shut down, pull away or lose patience with the people you love. But when you’ve spent the whole day holding everything together, sometimes they get whatever is left.

Living in survival mode doesn’t always look like falling apart. Sometimes it looks like being constantly on edge, staying busy so you don’t have to slow down, or feeling disconnected even when you’re surrounded by the people who matter most.

Survival to Safety is not about becoming a different person. It’s about understanding what your nervous system is doing and learning practical tools that can help you respond instead of react.

Because when you begin to feel safer within yourself, it can change the way you communicate, connect and show up at home.
