We don't leave our experiences neatly filed away in the past.
Sometimes, they show up in the way we move, the tension we hold, the places that feel restricted, or the pain that just won't seem to budge.
I've heard stories of people living with back pain through years of a difficult relationship, only to notice that pain ease after the relationship ended.
Of bodies that have adapted around an old injury. Of scars that still feel tight long after the wound has healed. Of people who have been pushing through discomfort for so long that it has become their normal.
Now, that doesn't mean every ache has an emotional backstory or that changing your mindset will magically fix your back.
But our bodies don't exist separately from our lives, either.
Our tissues heal. We adapt. We compensate. We find ways to keep going.
And sometimes, those adaptations outlast the circumstances that made them necessary.
What if, instead of asking only “Where does it hurt?”, we also got curious about what your body has been navigating?
That's part of the work I love about Myotherapy.
Not just chasing the sore spot, but looking at the bigger picture and exploring what might help you move and feel differently.
Because understanding your body isn't about blaming it for what you've been through.
It's about giving it a little more attention, a little more understanding, and some new options.
