Attention Mums!

Welcome to
“MUM TIME”

Leesa’s Health Hub will be adding child friendly sessions to their timetable.

As a mum of 2, I know the difficulty finding an exercise group that will work with you & your kids, I also know the difficulty of meeting other mums outside your regular friends or for me in particular the difficulty of just getting out of the house!

We are creating this “Mum Time” group for all the mumma’s out there, no matter your fitness level. This group will not only be great fitness for you but will also be very social & flexible. KIDS WELCOME! (or you can leave them with dad, up to you 😉)

The content of these sessions will change all the time, from walks, to mums & bubs work outs and if your having a bad day & need it, just a picnic/down time. They will be very flexible & work around the mothers who join.

A Facebook/Instagram/text chat will be created for all the mums to be able to keep in contact, ask advice or just vent when you need too.

These sessions are created for mums to help & find themselves again.

Each session will be a gold coin donation.

Sessions will begin Monday 1st August.

I would love to get from my mums that are interested, days & times that suit you so we can schedule it in.

Did you know…
Women should have about 2 litres of water a day, and men about 2.6 litres.

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should drink more each day than other women.

What are the benefits of drinking water?
• Protects from kidney diseases
• Facilitates blood circulation
• Accelerates metabolism
• Prevents digestive problems
• Beautifies skin
• Strengthens immunity

How much water do you drink each day?
Do you drink the recommended average intake?

I am not able to drive for 6 weeks after my c-section.
This is a good excuse for me to get my exercise in by walking to do daycare drop off & pick ups.

As I am still only early days in recovery from surgery I can not do strenuous exercises especially for my abdominal area. So walking is a great way to ensure I get my cardio exercises in and it is not strenuous on my abdominal muscles.

Cardio is such a great exercise for me as it is a great way to help with weight loss.

My time is now!

Today marks 2 weeks since I had my c-section surgery welcoming our little boy Boston.

I have waited 2 weeks until I have been able to get my pain under control.

Now that my pain is easing and is under control with only little Panadol, I have decided now is as good as any time to start my journey to reach my health & fitness goals post baby.

I have personal goals that I want to reach, such as weight & health goals.
(Note: These are my personal goals & will make me happy within myself.)

Join me in my journey to reach these goals.
I will post some workouts (both post-natal & getting back into normal routine) as well as recipes & foods that I eat.

2 weeks post baby I am currently 65kg, eating takeout for convenience which in turn is making me feel lethargic/low energy and my skin is starting to break out.

My goals are
• Weight down to 55kg (again this is a personal goal for me & will make me feel better in myself, a weight goal is not for everyone.) This was my weight pre 1st pregnancy.
• Eating less takeout and more “naked” “wholefoods”
• Back to regular exercise (at least up to x3 per week)

I have no time limit that I want to reach these goals as I am still “recovering“ from surgery, I just want to start implementing these basics back into my life to help me & my family’s health.

Note: Did you know 🤔 C-section is the only major surgery that they expect you to be up and walking within 24hrs!!
