Day 5 🧡 Meeting the Grandfather
On the 5th of May, under the energy of the 5/5 portal, we entered ceremony with Huachuma, the sacred Grandfather medicine of the Andes.
A date already carrying the symbolism of movement, change, freedom and breaking cycles became a deeply personal invitation to step forward with more clarity, trust and openness.
Held by the mountains, Pachamama, our Andean Maestro and the quiet wisdom of this land, we were invited into presence, surrender and deep listening.
Huachuma, San Pedro cactus, is highly revered by indigenous cultures as a sacred "teacher plant" and is not something that can easily be explained in words. It is something you feel.
A meeting with the Grandfather.
A softening.
A remembering.
A heart-opening connection to the land, the Apus, and the parts of ourselves ready to be seen.
Some of us felt playful and laughed until our bellies hurt. Others were gently held as tears came. And somehow, all of it belonged.
The joy.
The release.
The quiet.
The emotion.
The medicine.
There are some experiences that stay private in the heart, not because they are small, but because they are sacred.
On an astrologically significant date, one that symbolised movement, change and the breaking of old cycles, Peru met us exactly where we were and gently asked us to move from what we know… into how we choose to live.
Grateful for the guidance, the ceremony, the land, and the way this journey continues to open us, one sacred moment at a time. 🧡
