We’re excited to introduce Karen, one of our friendly and reliable support workers based out of Gin Gin.
Karen brings over 6 years of dedicated experience across both the aged care and disability sectors and holds her Certificate III. She is passionate about providing genuine, person-centred support and takes the time to understand each participant’s individual personality, strengths, goals, and needs.
Known for her patience, compassion, and approachable nature, Karen is committed to helping individuals build confidence, encourage independence, and create routines that best support their lifestyle.
Karen prides herself on making every participant feel comfortable, respected, and truly understood while delivering support that is encouraging, empowering, and tailored to each person’s journey.

Expression of Interest: Dungeons & Dragons Group in Maryborough
We’re looking at starting a Dungeons & Dragons group in Maryborough and would love to hear from anyone who might be interested in joining.
The group would run once a fortnight and would be a relaxed, welcoming space for people to come together, have fun, use their imagination, and enjoy a good adventure.
No experience is needed — whether you’re completely new to D&D or have played before, everyone is welcome. Support can be provided for beginners, and the focus will be on fun, creativity, social connection, and inclusion.

Help Gwen make a difference for Variety Bash Qld 2026! 🌟

Our incredible Gwen is getting creative to raise funds for the **Variety Bash Qld 2026**, an event dedicated to supporting **disadvantaged kids out West** and across Queensland. She's transforming recycled plastic into beautiful, unique pens, and she needs your help!

**Here's how you can contribute:**

We're collecting used plastic containers and lids of **all colours** – the brighter, the better! These will be recycled into stunning pens, with all proceeds going directly to the Variety Bash Qld.

*Important:* Please only donate containers and lids that have a **number 2** recycling symbol on the bottom. This ensures they are suitable for Gwen's recycling process.

Let's rally together to support Gwen's fantastic initiative and help Variety Bash Qld empower children in need. Every container counts!

Did you know your plastic lids and bottles can help underprivileged children in Queensland? We're thrilled to be part of a fantastic initiative supporting the Variety Bash!

Hardi Support Services has a yellow collection bin right here at our office, located at 133 Adelaide Street. We're collecting plastic lids and bottles (specifically those with a *Number 2* recycling symbol) that are then transformed by the talented Gwen Sealey into gorgeous, colourful pens! 🖊️✨

Every pen sold raises funds that go directly to the Variety Bash, making a real difference in the lives of children who need it most. It's a wonderful way to recycle, support a local artist, and contribute to a truly worthy cause.

Drop off your clean plastic lids and bottles during our opening hours and help us make a positive impact! Let's turn trash into treasure for a great cause! ♻️💖

What a truly wonderful week it has been! As we approach our 2-year anniversary, we find ourselves reflecting on the journey and the incredible community that has grown around us. We are so incredibly grateful for the continued support that allows us to provide dedicated, participant-focused support work every day.
