Time to get your annual flu vaccination!
As we approach winter itâs a great time to think about if youâd benefit from an influenza vaccination. Itâs safe and effective at reducing your risk of catching the flu, which also reduces your risk of spreading it to other
Iâm fortunate enough to get my flu vax paid for by work, so itâs worth asking your employer if they give you any incentives to get vaccinated (I hear a lot give you a few hours off to get vaccinated during work time!)
You can also get a free flu vaccine under the National Immunisation Program:
- children six months to less than 5 years
- pregnancy
- aged 65 or older
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people
- people with certain medical conditions
You can get a flu vax at most GP clinics or pharmacies, so think about getting yours today!
