This is something I think we can all agree to.

🤷 Lashing is fu***ng hard sometimes. Especially when you are starting. Often I find people get discouraged and turned off doing it because they are not as good as what they think they would be or they are often comparing themselves to others.

You must understand that everyone has a DIFFERENT STARTING POINT- Every individual has a unique starting point in their journey. Comparing yourself to someone else’s advanced stage doesn’t provide a fair or accurate representation of your efforts and potential.

You might be starting out while they have already out years of work. Instead of comparing- TAKE NOTES 📝
Set some goals! And create the steps you need to in order to reach them!

UNSEEN STRUGGLES- is exactly that. Unseen struggles. You might only see the successes and achievements of others but you may not be aware of the challenges and setbacks they faced along the way. This can create an unrealistic perception that they have it all figured out, which can cause anyone to underestimate there progress!

When learning- TAKE YOUR TIME. There is no rush at all

I FUC***N HATE EYELASH CURLERS. Let me tell you why

👁️ Each natural lash has its own growth cycle and thickness. When you use an eyelash curler, you're subjecting these delicate hairs to mechanical stress. The repeated pressure and bending can weaken the lash's internal structure, leading to breakage or even causing it to split along the shaft.

🩹 The root of the lash, where it grows from, is housed within a follicle. Applying pressure with an eyelash curler directly to the lash can stress these follicles. This stress might interrupt the natural growth cycle, potentially leading to stunted growth or even preventing new lashes from forming properly.

✨ Lashes have a finite lifespan, and they naturally fall out as part of their growth cycle. However, using an eyelash curler excessively or incorrectly can accelerate this process. Lashes that are weakened due to curler-induced stress may shed before they would have naturally, resulting in gaps and a less full appearance.

🤷 Achieving the perfect curl with an eyelash curler can be challenging. If not done carefully, you might end up with uneven curls or lashes that are crimped in odd angles. This not only looks unnatural but also draws attention to the fact that you're using a curler.
