Telecare We provide access to specialist telehealth services for regional, rural and under-served communities

We are a group of medical professionals who are embracing technology in the medical sector to bring telehealth specialist services to people with accessibility constraints. We are here to provide affordable, convenient and timely access to under-served communities with our diverse range of specialists. Through Telecare, GPs have the opportunity to access specialist services for their patients when

there are no specialists in the immediate community. We provide a higher level of specialist care through better care coordination. Our goal is to provide access to specialist services for those patients who would have otherwise gone without. We aim to reduce the average waiting period to under a week to see a specialist.

We had a great time attending RANZCP 2026. It was an engaging few days with plenty of practical conversations about how mental health services are being delivered across different settings.

It was great to meet so many clinicians and teams working across the space, and to hear different perspectives on what’s working, what’s challenging, and where things are heading.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to stop by and have a chat with us. We appreciated it.

Overall, a really worthwhile conference and we’re looking forward to being back again next year.

Eid Mubarak from all of us at Telecare! 🌙✨

Today we’re celebrating connection, community, and the joy that comes from sharing special moments with the people around us. Across our team, Eid means different things — family gatherings, good food (lots of it), laughter, and a chance to pause and be grateful.

We’re proud to work alongside colleagues and communities from many cultures and backgrounds, and days like Eid remind us how lucky we are to learn from each other and celebrate together.

Harmony Day at Telecare 🧡
At Telecare, we asked the team to wear something that represents their culture today—just a simple way to share a bit of who we are.
Looking around the office today, it’s pretty clear we’re from all over the place… different backgrounds, different stories, different ways of doing life. But somehow, it all just works.
At the end of the day, we’re one Telecare team. Showing up for each other, and for our patients, in a way that actually means something.
No big speeches—just a good reminder that what makes us different is exactly what makes us work so well together and makes the team stronger. Happy Harmony Day.

We had an incredible time attending the 2026 RWAV Conference in Geelong this year.

It was inspiring to be surrounded by so many passionate health professionals, leaders, and innovators all focused on improving healthcare access for rural and regional communities.

The conversations, ideas, and shared experiences throughout the conference really highlighted how much collaboration and dedication exists across the sector. Events like this remind us why the work we do matters and how powerful it is when people come together to build stronger healthcare systems.

A big thank you to Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV) for hosting such a fantastic event and creating space for meaningful discussions about the future of rural healthcare. The conference brought together more than 100 professionals from across the sector to collaborate, share insights, and shape solutions for communities across Victoria.

It was great connecting with so many colleagues, partners, and new faces — we’re already looking forward to the next one!

Michael and Lina have just returned from our very first Teladoc International Conference in Barcelona — the first global gathering since joining Teladoc’s global network.

It was an incredible experience connecting with more than 20 country managers across Europe, North America, Latin America and ANZ, and seeing firsthand the level of innovation happening in virtual care around the world.

And we’re so proud to share…

Last night we celebrated the end of an incredible year at the Mercure Doncaster — and what an amazing event it was!

It was a chance for us to come together, look back on our wins, honour the hard work behind our successes, and enjoy a well-deserved night of fun. We’re so proud of our team and everything we’ve achieved together this year.

A huge thank you to our team — your hard work and dedication shows every day, and it’s the reason we continue to grow and provide outstanding patient care. We appreciate you more than you know.

What an inspiring week at the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) Asia-Pacific 2025 Congress in Darwin — a sold-out gathering of health leaders passionate about the future of healthcare.

Telecare was proud to contribute on multiple fronts:

A. Two oral presentations, led by our Chief Medical Officer Dr Chris Sia (with support from Telecare’s leadership team):

1. Delivering Accessible and Culturally Sensitive Paediatric Care to Aboriginal Communities through a Virtual Specialist Model
2. Expanding virtual geriatric care: A collaborative telehealth model across regional aged care

These models are helping regional and remote services deliver care closer to home — strengthening relationships with communities, reducing transfers, and improving equity of access.

B. Exhibiting alongside incredible partners and innovators

Our team loved the energy and meaningful conversations throughout the expo hall — a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect, share, and explore how virtual models can empower the workforce while improving outcomes.

Darwin delivered: rich First Nations insights, climate-resilience discussions, and a strong focus on leadership across rural and remote health — reminding us why this work matters.

A heartfelt thank you to ACHSM and the Northern Territory for hosting such a future-focused congress. We’re energised and excited to continue innovating with our partners nationwide.
