Karen Anderson Alexander Technique The Alexander technique is a method of refining balance and function through developing awareness and coordination of physical use and thinking in activity.

Karen Anderson is an Alexander Technique teacher, graduated from the School for F.M. Alexander Studies, Melbourne and is registered with the Australian Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (AUSTAT). To her, the Alexander Technique is a quiet and profound life changer. Practicing it opens students to choice, autonomy and freedom and it provides actors a practical method for embodiment and presence to deliver captivating performances.

It is with a devastated heart I write this.
Shei died peacefully and unexpectedlyun on the 27th of July.

Shei lived, loved, worked and joyed so thoroughly.
They left us all far better off than they found us.

A grief this immense can only come from a love as equally whole and true.
I cannot comprehend how much I’ll miss sharing this world with you Shei… fire daddy, bestie, wife, mo chuisle (mo kooshla)
I am beyond grateful in my broken heart for you

With open hearts and willing minds, they engaged with new ideas, set aside old ones and worked through the vulnerable moments, frustrations, tears, laughter (and my tears of laughter 🤣)

The personal and professional growth in each of you brings tears to my eyes 💚
