Really grateful to have delivered a StrokeSafe presentation today at Wheelers Hill Library as part of the Stroke Foundation awareness program. It was a great session with an engaged audience who asked thoughtful and insightful questions.

One moment that really stayed with me was when a participant shared she would go and get her blood pressure checked after the talk. Since managing blood pressure is such a key factor in stroke prevention, it felt incredibly meaningful to know the session made a real impact.

Small conversations can lead to important changes - feeling thankful to be part of something that helps make a difference in people’s lives.

After taking a bit of a break from social media lately, I’ve still been keeping active - both physically and in the community. It was great to spend some time at the Braybrook and Maidstone Neighbourhood House on Wednesday.

I had the opportunity to speak as part of the Stroke Foundation’s StrokeSafe education program. It was a great conversation about recognising the signs of stroke and why acting FAST can save lives.

Thank you to everyone who came along and engaged in such an important discussion. Community education plays a big role in helping keep people safe and informed.
