How much water have you had so far today?

Our bodies, on average, will lose 2.5L of water daily just through breathing, talking, sweating, going to the toilet and basic cellular function.

So just as bare minimum we want to be replacing this 2.5L daily to keep these bodily functions efficient and running smoothly.

Now, in terms of actually rehydrating an already dehydrated human, it's been shown that we need to drink, on average, 1L of pure water for every 22 Kg's of body mass per day, everyday.

And here's the tricky part... we can get dehydrated in a single day by not drinking enough water. However, to rehydrate an entire human body takes drinking slightly more water than you actually need EVERYDAY for, on average, 14 days straight.

Yup, it's no quick fix. It takes diligence and for most of us, a willingness to step out of our comfort zones and into a new place of drinking 3, 4 maybe 5L of pure water daily for two whole weeks.
