I ran a live event this morning called "Wellbeing Done Differently" where fresh ideas were innovated and shared.

A few favourites from the chat:
- Therapy dogs
- EAP provider onsite for RUOK? Day
- A webinar where staff (not just professionals) share their own stories of asking "are you OK?"
- Planting sunflowers together for Mental Health Month as a symbol of hope & positivity
- Keynote speakers asked to stay for conversations
- Health checks
- Proper time to talk over food and coffee
- Healthy meal vending machines for National Nutrition Week

Thank you to everyone who joined and shared so openly. đź’›

If you want a recording of the session with all the fresh ideas, comment "recording" and I'll send it over to you.

Researching employee wellbeing in primary industry has led me to community veggie gardens. This is my happy place. Plants, nature, fresh food, community engagement, and sense of belonging. The pouring rain stopped for a few hours and the sun was shining for our first meet & greet. What a brilliant day!

7th - 11th Sept 2026 is Women's Health Week. This year's theme is "Do It Anyway" encouraging women to take small steps towards our health.

My "Busy & Burnout Proof" keynote is a topic very close to my heart. I share:

-my lived experience that moves the audience

-the science that explains why we feel the way we do

-inspire and empower the audience to take action

-wellbeing micro-tools that do not require a 25th hour in the day.
