Feeling a little “off” after the festive season? That’s totally normal and it doesn’t mean you need to hit reset.
Changes in routine, social events, and festive eating can leave your body wanting balance, not restriction.
Gentle habits always beat strict rules.

The Kasey Jaeger 2025 recap 🤍
This year was full of learning, unlearning, consistency, and perspective. From celebrating client wins, to my own health and movement highlights, the habits that supported me, the things I let go of, and what I want to carry into 2026.
2025 reminded me that health isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, staying curious, building habits that fit real life, and letting go of rules that no longer serve us.
I’m so grateful for the people, the support, and the clients who trust me with their health. Thank you for being part of this year. Here’s to continuing to move, nourish, and care for ourselves in ways that feel supportive and sustainable ✨

This festive season I’m seeing some really meaningful mindset shifts in my clients around food, movement, and how they care for themselves.

Less guilt. Less all-or-nothing thinking. More trust in their bodies, more consistency, and movement chosen for how it feels rather than to “make up” for anything.

These aren’t small changes. They’re the kind of shifts that support long-term health and a calmer relationship with food and movement and they’re what make me so proud to be their dietitian and personal trainer.

If this is something you’d like support with in the new year, please feel free to get in touch.

Consistent exercisers aren’t chasing calorie burn, they’re chasing how good movement makes their body and mind feel.
They pick forms of exercise they enjoy, create routines that are flexible, and don’t throw everything away when a week gets messy.
They honour their energy levels, choose the “good enough” option, and understand that movement is part of caring for themselves.
Consistency grows naturally when the goal is to feel strong, energised and your best.

We grow up surrounded by food rules. They lead to a poor relationship with food and your body and most of them make eating more stressful than it needs to be.

You don’t need to earn your food.
You don’t need to count calories.
You don’t need to wait for the “right” time to eat.
And you definitely don’t need to fear carbs.
Your body doesn’t run on rules, it runs on fuel, consistency, and trust.

Paying attention to your hunger, appetite, and fullness cues helps you eat in a way that truly works for your body.

Letting go of old food rules isn’t about giving up on health. It’s about creating a way of eating that fits your life, feels good, and supports your energy and wellbeing.

Save this for later or share it with someone who needs a reminder that food isn’t a moral test.

Ever said “I feel fat”?
You’re definitely not alone, but it’s important to note that fat isn’t actually a feeling.

Often, it’s code for something deeper. Feeling uncomfortable, out of control, stressed, or not enough. Our culture just taught us to use “fat” when we really mean “bad.”

On those tough body image days, focus on kindness, comfort, and curiosity instead of criticism. Ask yourself what you really need. Maybe you need rest, reassurance, a hug or proper food.

Swipe through for some gentle reminders and things you can do next time that “I feel fat” thought shows up.

Let’s stop treating fat like a feeling and start treating ourselves with compassion
