June 25 marked World Vitiligo Day, recognising a chronic skin condition that affects millions of people worldwide but is often misunderstood and underrecognised.

Vitiligo can impact on both physical appearance and emotional wellbeing. Raising awareness helps reduce stigma, promote earlier diagnosis, and improve support and care.

The Australasian Dermatology Registry is working to improve outcomes for people living with vitiligo by collecting real-world data to support treatment insights and dermatology research.
