With only days to go, we’ve received unexpected attention that has brought the event to the awareness of local authorities. After speaking with them, it’s clear we can’t move forward in the current format without risking shutdown or fines.

So, rather than compromise the experience, safety, or integrity of what we’re creating…
we are postponing MANIFEST.

This is not a cancellation.

The event sold out. The response has been powerful. In just 24 hours, over 100 new souls joined this movement; a clear sign that something real is building here. A hunger for conscious, alcohol-free dance floors. For depth, connection and transformation through music.

🧵 Yarnni

Yarnni is an artist and designer based in Naarm / Melbourne, Australia.

His practice sits at the intersection of fashion, sustainability and mixed media. Working primarily with up-cycling second-hand garments, he approaches clothing as both material and canvas to be re-worked. By altering the shape and size of each garment, he then applies a range of image making techniques, experimenting with freehand drawing, airbrushing, screen printing, reverse appliqué and hand-embroidery.

Embedded within this process is a deep engagement with the cultural spaces he moves through - both physical and online. Influenced by the DIY ethos of 90’s street skating, his garments are altered for a thick and loose fit, echoing the functional durability of skate wear. Layered imagery of shapes and symbols applied throughout his growing collection draws from a range of subcultures such as geometric abstraction, anti-style graffiti and cybersigilism.

With this approach to making, his work mirrors the cyclical nature of these subcultures that sample their own histories to generate something new. Styles return in new contexts, processes repeat with variation, and meaning evolves with each iteration.

These stalls aren’t just shops… they’re expressions of soul.
