episode 3 of the last bite series takes us to The Hive Loukoumades in Rye. a summer hotspot that is constantly in my head, rent free 🤤

known for their huge selection of flavours and loaded Greek dessert options, this place definitely delivers on variety. creamy, crunchy and soft all at once, with every bite packed with flavour.

overall rating: 8 out of 10. reasonably priced at around $16-$20 for the desserts, drinks are definitely on the pricey side. perfect post beach sweet treat for a summer night down the Mornington Peninsula.

these are the wholefoods i prioritise daily to support focus, mood, and steady energy, not extremes, not cutting food groups, just consistently fuelling my body properly.

think:
healthy fats for brain function.
protein for neurotransmitters.
carbs for consistent energy.
antioxidants to protect your brain.

when you’re under-eating or avoiding certain foods, YOUR body feels it first through low energy, brain fog, mood swings, and constant thoughts about food.

this isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being consistent with the basics.

i lost my high school friends. i walked into a completely new environment where i knew no one.

and yeah, it’s safe to say i won. not because i’m doing better than everyone else, and not because i’ve “made it” at 21. but because i kept showing up on the days i wanted to disappear. because i chose growth over staying comfortable.because i rebuilt myself in places that once felt unfamiliar.

there were moments i felt alone, misunderstood, and out of place. moments where everything felt uncertain. but i didn’t stop. i proved to myself i could keep going. and i proved to the people who thought i couldn’t… that i did.

this isn’t the end, it’s just the beginning. if i can do it, then YOU definitely can too 🫶🏽
