I’m so excited to be having a Clinic Day in Canberra on Saturday 20 June! You will find me at The Allergy Centre at Jamison Centre.

My sessions can help and support some of the following:

☀️ Anxiety / Depression
☀️ Pain Management
☀️ Injury Rehabilitation or Post Surgery
☀️ Trauma and Childhood Healing
☀️ Busy Minds and Overwhelm
☀️ Boosts immune and lymphatic systems
☀️ Dysregulated Nervous System
☀️ The list is endless…..

Or simply, when you know you need support with something but you don’t know what!

Energy Healing goes where words can’t always reach, it reminds the mind body and soul how to heal itself.

I combine root cause and talk therapy with energy healing. A gentle and powerful combination.

Bookings are essential!

A Teenager can have a whole different world happening in their mind, their body and their brain…….

A World that they don’t know how to communicate, a world they don’t know how to navigate……

They might not have a safe person to lean on, or the right environment to let their guard down, a parent that’s not distracted by the busy world or parents that don’t even know how to navigate their own emotions.

In this current life most parents have to work to get ahead or just keep floating. They have their own unprocessed emotions.

No judgement 💫

Meanwhile our Teenagers have so much more to navigate in this modern world, too much awareness and exposure to things their innocent minds just arent ready to process.

Meanwhile, their minds can be full of hopes, dreams, fears, worries, or traumas that no one knows of…….

Pressures to be this way or that way…..

I was that Teenager once, with trauma no one was fully aware of - no one safe to help navigate through it.

Know your children so well that you know when things are a bit off, or hugely off. Teach them how to communicate, help them feel safe in their bodies, in their world.

Learn to listen, not judge, not shame.

I have two adult children, I think I know them better than themselves! It’s our job as parents to help them navigate the world. So they’re ready when it’s time to leave the nest 🪹

Communication is everything.

We all love a beautiful sunrise or sunset ~ and we all love to capture it on our phones or cameras 📸

We are visual beings and like to “look” at beautiful things with our physical eyes, but…… do we truly FEEL it, do we truly BREATHE it, do we ABSORB the ENERGY of the beautiful moment……

That’s where the healing is, that’s where and when the magic truly happens 💫

Such a great explanation 🌻

Such a great explanation 🌻

**“In some families, ADHD was never recognized.
It was renamed every generation.”**

The grandmother was called “scatterbrained.”

The mother was called “too emotional.”

The uncle was “gifted but inconsistent.”

The cousin was “lazy with so much potential.”

And the child growing up in that family quietly learns something dangerous very early:

“We don’t struggle here. We just blame ourselves harder.”

As a clinician, one of the most emotional moments is watching someone realize their lifelong shame may have had a neurological explanation all along.

Not an excuse.
An explanation.

Because when ADHD runs through a bloodline, it rarely arrives looking obvious.

Sometimes it looks like brilliance.

A family full of creative thinkers.
Fast talkers.
Entrepreneurs.
Artists.
Problem-solvers.
People who can survive chaos better than most.

But underneath that brilliance is often exhaustion nobody talks about.

Half-finished projects.
Constant overwhelm.
Emotional burnout.
Forgotten appointments.
Explosive arguments followed by guilt.
Sleeping too late because the brain finally became quiet at midnight.

And generation after generation, these patterns become normalized.

Not because nobody cared.

Because nobody had language for what they were experiencing.

Research consistently shows ADHD has a strong genetic component. In many families, once one person is identified, relatives begin recognizing the same lifelong patterns in themselves.

Suddenly the stories connect.

Why grandma could never sit still.
Why mom always felt emotionally overloaded.
Why dad bounced between hobbies every few months.
Why someone in the family always seemed simultaneously incredibly intelligent and deeply overwhelmed.

The painful part is that many adults grew up being corrected for symptoms instead of supported through them.

They learned masking instead of regulation.

So now you have generations of people who became experts at surviving while privately feeling like they were failing at normal life.

And often, the child who gets diagnosed first becomes the person who accidentally uncovers the entire family history.

Not through blame.

Through understanding.

Because once someone finally sees the pattern clearly, the conversation in the family slowly changes from:

“What is wrong with you?”

to:

“Wait… you experienced that too?”

And for many people, that is the first time their struggles stop feeling personal and start making neurological sense.

Counselling definitely has its place, but it’s not always the cure. Talking and re-visiting the same experience over and over doesn’t actually “shift” the feelings and emotions - it keeps it alive and active within us.

Combining talk therapy and complimentary therapies is when the healing magic happens 💫

Change can be scary or exciting…..

If we don’t embrace change when we feel stuck in life or life isn’t working, the universe will come in and create change for us ~ and it’s not always gentle….

Sometimes we make ourselves so uncomfortable in pain or suffering before we have no choice but to make changes.

Choose your change!

Nothing changes unless we make changes 🍂 🍁

No wonder we get worn out! No wonder we get so busy and overwhelmed in our busy minds…… 🤯

What reality are you in right now……

Where’s your most power……

27/04/2026

It’s not easy watching the Leader of the Family aging ~ their bodies failing, and yet their minds and souls are still so young……

It’s not easy watching the Leader of the Family so vulnerable, so needy and so desperately trying to protect themselves from feeling controlled by others and having no personal power.

It’s not easy watching the Leader of the Family looking and feeling so helpless.

That Leader of the Family who was always the strong one…… the one who raised the children, who got knocked down so many times, and no matter what always managed to pick themselves up - dust themselves off and carry on……

And suddenly not so strong anymore.

All of a sudden they’re not the strong one, YOU ARE, for them.

That Leader of the Family is my Mum ~ my Mum has the most amazing strength, just a tiny woman with a body that is crumbling and endlessly breaking (osteoporosis), but a mind of strength.

I’ve talked to many older woman in similar situations who aren’t so mobile and quite vulnerable. They all have said similar comments that suddenly now they’re old, they feel useless, they don’t matter, no one listens, no one is really around to care.

But they’ve all had amazing lives, and hold sooooo much wisdom from their life experiences - the good experiences and the bad experiences. It’s the Leaders of our Families who have the wisdom, just ask them, just listen - that’s all they need, is a feeling of being heard 🌻💛

I talked briefly with a 93 year old woman at the hospital today, most beautiful lady, and she shared a bit of her story ~ I love those moments that get you right in the heart 💛

And maybe that’s what we need, to listen and learn from the people who have the actual life experiences - people who have been on that journey.

Please note: this is not a sympathy post, just observations and awareness that we all experience at some time of life 💫
