Last night, I was honored to host an evening for my beta team. I'm truly grateful for my bookish community and all the support I've received so far.

It's an incredible journey writing romantasy. I'm taking all feedback with tenacity, as it's all invaluable in helping this series strengthen.

Draft five is almost ready for structural edits, and I plan to draft Book Two in the coming months.

I'm Renee Baker ā€” Melbourne-based romantasy writer, full-time tattooist, and mum of two. When Iā€™m not in the studio, Iā€™m building worlds filled with dragons, trials, political intrigue, and romance that hurts in the best possible way.

Iā€™m currently finishing my fourth draft and preparing for beta reads on my debut series set in the realm of Aureun ā€” a multi-POV romantasy with high stakes, layered relationship dynamics, magic, mystery, and just the right amount of spice.

My goal is to write trilogy-vibe stories with dangerous choices, slow burns, and characters forced to fight for love, power, and survival.
