Turns out I had no pastry I thought I had SOOO much so don’t know where that disappeared to lol

My Thermomix was worth its weight in GOLD tonight 😍

As I got home from netball training with the kiddos. I knew I needed to cook dinner. I didn’t really want too. So I chose risotto. Bcoz there’s a few steps at the start then it does everything FOR you.

So, tonight when I was cooking I told my kiddos to get a book to read to me. First kiddo comes back & reads to me as I was chucking the onion, bacon, butter, rice ect in.

Second kiddo gets ready to read & says she can’t. To which I met with ofcourse you can.

What does this have to do with a Thermomix you ask? I walked away from the kitchen bench, sat next to her & she slowed down and read to me.

If I didn’t stop & go to her, she would have glossed over, made up her own story that went with the picture, I would have been none the wiser and we wouldn’t have and the amazing moment we did.

Instead, bcoz I have a Thermomix. I could stop, let dinner cook itself. Be present with her BEFORE she got too tired & we had the MOST successful night of reading we’ve had together & it was so so special! 😍
