This is my incredible wife, Britney. ā¤ļø
Sheās recently asked for my support in helping her make more informed, intentional choices for her bodyāfocusing on long-term health, longevity, and overall wellbeing.
As a qualified nutritionist with a strong passion for fitness and the human body, Iām currently working toward becoming a holistic life coach. My goal is to support people not only in nutrition and physical health, but also in mindset and mindfulness practices, incorporating approaches such as breathwork and Reiki. š³š§āāļø
Many who know Brit are aware that she lives with an autoimmune condition, hyperthyroidism. This is a lifelong condition that requires ongoing management and adjustments to support her health on a daily basis. Over time, weāve made significant lifestyle changes togetherāreducing exposure to chemicals in our home, improving the quality of the food we eat and cook with, setting healthy boundaries, managing stress, and prioritising both our physical and mental wellbeing. šŖ
For women, this condition can be particularly challenging. The thyroid plays a critical role in regulating many essential functions in the body, including metabolism, digestion, hormones, skin health, the nervous system, and more. It can cause anxiety, depression, hair loss, severe hormone issues, insomnia, bone loss, etc.
Brit fought for over 5 years with doctors telling them she didnāt feel right before she finally got her diagnosis nearly 2 years ago. Since then Brit has been told sheās got kidney stones (that now may need surgery) she has bowel issues, she has severe hormone issues which unfortunately caused us to have a miscarriage last year, she has scoliosis in the top of her spine, sciatica pain, brain fog, insomnia, etc!! š

Iāve seen Brit go through some incredibly difficult periods, navigating appointments with doctors, specialists, and various health practitioners. Itās been a tough journey for her and one weāre committed to improving.
Brit has been seeking support to help her condition weekly, seeing either a doctor, specialist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, naturopath, masseuse, the list goes on. š©ŗ
Now, for the next three months, weāve made a commitment to take a more structured and supportive approach together. Iāll be guiding her through tailored nutrition, mindset work, and holistic practices, while continuing to support her overall health and wellbeing. This is something weāre approaching as a team. š«āļø
You might wonder why weāre formalising this now after being together for so long. Since leaving the mines late last year, Britās body has been under increased stress, particularly as it adjusts and recovers from prolonged exposure to a harsh working environments and chemicals. Transitioning back to everyday life has also brought its own challenges. āØš
Our focus moving forward is on supporting her body through this phaseāprioritising gut health, often referred to as the āsecond brain,ā making sustainable lifestyle changes, and continuing to build a strong foundation through nourishing food and consistent care.
Weāre looking forward to sharing our journey and progress along the way with you all. šŖš§āāļøššļøāāļø
